“A perfect house to enjoy friends company - eat drink and be merry.” This house was the chosen spot for a lovely 30th birthday weekend. Friends met from around the country and we all felt very at home in the beautiful space that this clean contemporary house provides. We had a mixed group with 2 young children under 2. The 3 story dwelling allowed us to put the kids to bed and enjoy the evenings mainly in the kitchen cooking, eating, having some great chats a few games and of course a few glasses of wine. The kitchen/dining room made cooking all meals a real pleasure. The house has a great situation and we walked both days along the coastal path to Woolacombe beach where a few warming games were played in the not so bright weather - which didn't stand in the way of a thoroughly enjoyed weekend. Dominic thank you so much for all your help when booking this location we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely think of returning. A great place! Many thanks Ben and Sarah
“Perfect sea view apartment” Absolutely loved our stay, perfect getaway break. The apartment was gorgeous it's actually better that it looks on the pictures. The view was breath taking.
The apartment had everything you could possibly need for your stay, well equipped. The kitchen fully stocked. So don't worry about anything, just bring some food.
The place was really clean and the bed was comfy. I'll most definitely be coming back and staying again. For me personally March was a perfect time to come, Wollavombe Bay was very quiet. Which was quiet nice as the summer season is busy. We did day trips to Clovelly and Fushia Valley both reasonable driving distance and again no crowds. Perfect
When booking Pamela was great, quick response which enabled us to book fast.
Great experience thanks :)
“Excellent location and beautiful house” Our stay at Cromlech house was an absolute delight. The house slept 8 comfortably and had an excellent kitchen diner area as well as a large front room. The house was beautifully furnished and had all the necessary kitchen equipment to cook up a storm. The house is ideally located in the centre of Mortehoe and only a short walk from the beach and local pubs. There’s a small but perfectly stocked deli next door to the house that sells a variety of fresh produce and does a lovely cream tea. All in all our stay at Cromlech was lovely, we will definitely we returning in the near future. I would recommend this house to families and groups of friends looking for a little beach escape.

If you get the opportunity, buy some of the farms jam, it’s to die for.
“Fantastic apartment in excellent location” The apartment is comfortable and well-equiped with amazing views. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance or nearby. Thoroughly recommend a trip to Lynmouth and the walk from here to Watersmeet where you can reward yourself with a cream tea!
“Ideal Family break location” We stayed in Leigh Cottage for a few days as a mini break. Four adults and two children. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with a cosy welcoming feel. West Down is a good setting off point for many of North Devon's points of interest. The local pub is a few minutes walk away and serves good food in a friendly atmosphere. The local shop is fine for essentials. Overall we'd definitely recommend and would choose again.

Breathtaking Sea Views!! The View, Woolacombe
This apartment is amazing! With its stunning views and cool coastal decor we couldn't have asked for more. It was well equipped with everything you need for a few days away, including a few extra touches, such as a welcome goodies basket and children's toys/books. The apartment was child/baby friendly, which was fantastic as there were 2 babies within our group.
The host was very friendly and helpful in arranging our booking and responded promptly to any questions. We live in Australia but would definitely visit again when we are back in the UK.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. …

Wonderful place to stay for our family break
Great location, wonderful views, lovely spacious well equipped accommodation. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and games provided. We were a family of 6 adults and 1 dog. Great to find such a lovely place with all these plus points so near to the beach. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach, steep walk back up the hill. Ideal for a short break.

Spacious cliff-top apartment with stunning views
Amazing apartment, great host
What can I say this apartment and host were amazing. We were a party of 3 families and the space was just perfect. Plenty of room for the little ones to play, very well resourced with games and kitchen equipment. Carol was delightful to us and very accommodating, she even popped in to say hi! The views are also fantastic. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. If you're looking for a great apartment this is it! We'll be heading back that's for sure. I have also recommended to most of my friends! …
9 Oceanpoint: Luxury rental 100m to beach & shops
Couldn't be better
The owner has four apartments in Oceanpoint. This one, number 9, is on the second and third floors. The view along the beach from Woolacombe to Putsborough and beyond to Baggy Point is stunning. Even at this time of year sunsets over the sea are a delight.
This is ideal for families, even I can get on the beach in 3 minutes and to the shops which have everything you could imagine in 2 minutes.. No difficulties with parking as there is a covered car park with a numbered space and then a lift to the two levels of front doors.
Very clean and really well and tastefully equipped.
We plan to book again soon. …
4 Ada's Terrace, Mortehoe
Perfect relaxing dog friendly stay.
The cottage was great. Very cosy and comfortable, felt like a home from home. It was all very easy from booking with Colin to Carole greeting us with the key.
Carole had wrote us a lovely welcome card, cream tea and scones, heating was on and welcome treats for the dogs.
The cottage was very well equipped with tea/coffee, all kitchen utensils, kitchen roll etc, all the little extras like maps books and binoculars etc were a nice touch. Very good wifi.
Super quiet and peaceful location. Amazing sea views from the front of the house. You can sit in the lounge and watch the sea.
The location was brilliant for us as dog walkers, as it is literally located on the SW Coastal path. We easily walked to both Morte Point and the opposite direction via the hill/valley to Woolacombe beach. Woolacombe beach is one of the best British beaches we have visited.
Mortehoe village itself is very quaint, we ate 2 nights running in the Ship Abroad, the food was great. Approx 3 mins walk from the cottage.
I would definitely recommend staying in Ada Cottage and Mortehoe. …
