“Very well maintained Pet friendly chalet in great location” Gillians Chalet at California Cliffs Hemsby has so much going for it, hand and bath towels supplied, there was coffee, tea, sugar, milk, washing liq. and much more awaiting our arrival. A very comfortable two bedroomed chalet. Pub, tricia's chippy and beach 4 minutes walk. Short drive/bus ride (2mns walk to bus stop) to Caister and Great Yarmouth. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed many walks in this pleasant area. 5/5 well deserved rating.

“Tranquil and picturesque” Thank you to David for sharing his lovely home with us. The house is well equipped and the quality of furniture and the décor in the bedrooms is of a superb quality. The house is well positioned for a fabulous walk into Lyme Regis. The are is atmospheric and scenic. We found the house cosy and enjoyed sitting in the small patio area outside. The house provided a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area.

“Excellent, very clean, well equipped lodge, would recommend to future guests.” Recently stayed in this lodge, great facilities, very clean lodge, credit to the owners, has eveything you need for short/long stays, lovely fresh new bedding/linen/towels etc, also has books/games/DVDs etc for use. Added bonus of decking area including new table chairs, BBQ and personal touches of lovely flowers which add to the decking area, the deck is also very clean. Owner also leaves milk, tea, coffee and sugar in a very well equipped kitchen area, would highly recommend. We had a great stay as did our dog, thank you.

“Very enjoyable stay! Our dog welcome!” Arrived at the caravan park around 2.20pm. Receptionist said with it being a private let they couldn’t give the key out until the time specified on the form which was 3.00pm. That was fine. We had a drink whilst waiting. The caravan was lovely. Everywhere looked clean and very tidy. The bedrooms were fine. Comfy beds and pillows and warm, colourful bedding. Good picture on TV. The fridge was roomy and there was plenty of crockery, pots, pans and cutlery provided. Plenty of room in the lounge area with nice seating. Hot water was plentiful and shower was good. Table and chairs provided for sitting outside, weather permitting. We have been to this site many times as my in-laws owned a caravan here a few years ago. It’s a shame that the road on the clifftop has eroded further in a short time. There is NO road now! You can no longer get directly down to the beach from the site. You have to walk quite a fair way on through the site and then through another site before you can get down to the beach and sea. We had our dog with us who was staring at the sea longingly and whining wanting to get down there! He nearly pulled my husband over the cliff on a few occasions! It was £5.00 per adult per day to have access to the onsite club, bingo and entertainment and swimming pool. £3.00 per child. My son, his partner and child paid this and said the entertainment was good. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive as per usual in these places. We didn’t try the food. My husband and I decided to go into the Skipsea Club which had just opened in April. The old club house (next to the chip shop) is now shut. The new one looks like an aircraft hanger. It is HUGE! So you no longer have to queue up at 7.15pm to get a seat as there are plenty! Unfortunately, because it’s so big there is not a lot of atmosphere, even though the club was full. Felt quite clinical to me. Anyway, the drinks and bingo are cheaper than the other onsite club. It costs £2 per person to get in per day. Not sure if children are free but very welcome as there were quite a few in there. Bridlington is 9 miles away from the site and Hornsea is 5 miles. Would we book this caravan again? Definitely! Had a really good time.

“Lovely caravan, lovely site.” The caravan was very well kept, very clean and modern feel to it. The site itself was lovely. My 4 year old daughter loved it although the pool could be a lot warmer, it was freezing. The caravan is in a perfect location 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minutes from the clubhouse, pool etc. Would definitely come again.

“First rate accommodation in a great location” An excellent holiday home that has been equipped with all mod cons by owners who really understand the requirements of their guests. You can use the facilities of the Polmanter touring park which is ideal for children. You can walk to St Ives in 25 minutes but the return journey is all uphill and will take longer. Alternatively you can use the bus service which runs between St Ives and the nearby Polmanter touring park. We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Chapel.

“Very enjoyable with the potential to be fantastic upon project c” *Service was good from booking to welcome. * Apartment was very well presented with additional items such as videos, toys and basic refreshments that make the break a little easier. * As ever the area and view were breath taking * Main area of the Abbey is extremely dusty and was most unpleasant to walk through especially as I have asthma. * Potential upon competition to be ideal for exploring the Highlands, relaxing and enjoying the local areas.
