“My visit” Nice caravan although could have been cleaned better having found dirty glasses and cheese grater. Things that wouldn’t have been missed if checked ready for the new visitors. Apart from that our visit was quite pleasant. Had 3 little children with me whom enjoyed the indoor play area, hired family bikes and night entertainment for tots. “Superb family weekend away” We stayed as a party of 11 - 6 adults, 5 children - and found both the house and location perfectly suited to our requirements. The beds were large and comfortable (although the rooms slightly warm and we did not find any fans), the kitchen was well stocked and came with a great welcome pack that was a bonus. The weather turned out warmer than we expected which meant we made a lot use of the BBQ hut, hot tub, children's play area and ice machine in the American style fridge freezer. The sky TV throughout was a nice touch although we didn't make much use of it preferring to be outside or playing pool. One very minor grumble I would have is that the patio furniture on the decking area left a lot to be desired - only 2 of the 4 plastic chairs were usable and those were flimsy at best. This certainly was not in keeping with the rest of the house. I must also make glowing recommendation for the excellent customer service we received on two counts. Firstly, when the hot tub was not heating up and I contacted Brett, within minutes he had dispatched his neighbour round to reset the controls and it started heating up immediately. Very impressed! Secondly, when we arrived home and realised that my youngest daughter had managed to unpack her favourite comforter and leave it behind just prior to our departure I contacted Brett again and he arranged for the comforter to be located and posted back to me. All in all, it was a terrific weekend and I would gladly return or recommend.

“Lovely stay” We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. It's got everything you could want and Helen, the owner is on hand to help. The dogs loved the gardens, not sure the chickens enjoyed them quite so much! Ideally situated with loads of walking within a few minutes. We will return.

“A Delightful Cosy Barn” It was our first time in Batty Barn and we loved it. It is so well equipped and to such a high standard. The kitchen is to die for and would be amazing in any home! It is very central for all the Scarborough amenities, including Alpamare Water Park (which our grandchildren loved of course), as well as Whitby and surrounding areas. We were unfortunate with the weather, 3 days of mist and fog, but it didn’t detract from our stay thankfully. However, had the weather been better I would like to have known that the gorgeous views sadly, are not visible from this barn but can be seen from the other 2 properties on site. The ‘welcome pack’ of fresh eggs and fruit was a lovely touch - we had a delightful fresh fruit salad Thank you Phil and Angela, you provided us with great ‘home comforts.’

“Super place with super hosts” We had a wonderful 4 nights at the stables. Chris and Mark are just the nicest people you could ever meet. Chris's apple sponge and crumbles are amazing. We were very spoilt. The stables are a lovely homely accomadation with beautiful views and gardens. The table tennis and pool table was an added bonus which we had hours of fun. Prince our GSD loved the woods. We would definatley stay again

“Lovely apartment in a stunning location” Short walk for plenty of buses into York, nearby shops for self catering. Very well equipped and beautifully finished apartment. Lovely views over surrounding countryside. Sofa bed for an overnight guest much appreciated. Very generous supplies in the kitchen, freshly baked cake, eggs, milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter and preserves. A most enjoyable stay.

“Honeymug- fab” Absolutely lovely place, everything you need is there. Lovely welcome pack when you get there and the pool/hot tub facilities are fab. The only down side is that you cant check in til 4pm and need to be out by 10am which we think is too late and way to early to check out. Other than we had a fantastic stay.

“Excellent stay in the cotswolds” We stayed at Clearwater 29 in December with friends, we all have young children and the property was perfect. There were amazing views from the lounge and two of the bedrooms, these views can be enjoyed from the balcony in warmer weather. Everything was clean and nice towels and bed linen were provided. The kitchen had everything you could need, we managed to cook a roast dinner without a problem with the pot and pans that were there, kitchen also had the basics like sugar and tea so we could have a drink when we arrived and waited for our online shop to delivered. We also had access to the onsite spa, we used both the indoor and outdoor pool which were great. Great weekend in a great house, we are hope to return again.

“Fantastic” Just back from a completely relaxing weekend in The Borrowers. Everything we could need and more was provided and we felt at home from the moment we arrived! A stunning & romantic cottage set within beautiful and tranquil gardens. Dalene and Alex are perfect hosts - very welcoming and helpful with great suggestions for places to visit. Definitely somewhere we would like to come back to and have already recommended it to all our friends!

“Perfect Family Getaway” We booked Pine Tree lodge in June for a family get together - 4 couples and 4 children under the age of 5 and it was perfect for our needs. The owners were extremely helpful right from the start and communicated with me from the moment of booking. Not only were all our needs catered for but they ensured that we had everything we could possible need for the children - from bottle prep machines, sterilizers to outside toys for the older kids, including a trampoline, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was also well equipped with all the essentials. Situated on the shore of a lake we had water sport activities right on our doorstep, or it was only a short drive to the coast. Would recommend.

“Great family cottages” We stayed in Cedar cottage for a couple of nights, wish we'd booked for longer! The photos don't do it justice, it was a beautiful old stone building, with all the mod cons needed inside. Warm and cosy, even dvds and a few games were there, plus milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. An appreciated touch. We took our 2 dogs too and they were made to feel just as welcome as we all were, a lovely field to run them in, great walks nearby. Plus a great cafe at an equestrian centre down the road that the dogs could come in too. We'll definitely come back, a great place for larger families and groups and a beautiful rural setting, with helpful friendly hosts.

“Great weekend get away for the family” We had a great time, three families with 5 kids and a dog between us, there was enough space for us all. The facilities were great, lots of local information and help to make our stay comfortable. We also used the hot tub, while it was snowing! “Hidden gem of Newquay” Have just returned from this fantastic holiday home. We were 2 families, 4 adults & 3 boys age 11,12,13 & an 8 year old girl. This was the most perfect place for our families. The house took our breaths away as we walked in. The open plan space was superb & meant we were able to spend quality time together as a family. Only 5 minute walk to the beach & a short walk into Newquay was perfect. The kids loved all aspects to the home & wanted to come back early from the beach to enjoy all its facilities! Dee has thought of absolutely everything. All the things we forgot, such as drinks bottles, condiments etc were there for us to use... there was even a fully stocked freezer tray full of lollies for the kids! The welcome pack also went down very well! What we loved most about here was the fact it felt like home. I cannot praise Dee & her family enough & will hopefully return here in the future.
