“A nice "get away from it all"” Spent a week at the Mowhay. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity and being surrounded by nature. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and well placed for coastal walks. You do need a car though there is an hourly bus service which passes close by and goes to Land's End and St Ives. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. All in all we had a very refreshing and enjoyable week.

“Lovely and relaxing” Stayed here for 3 nights after Christmas and had a lovely stay! Cottage was gorgeous, had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Lovely to get away and relax. Would definitely recommend.

“Fantastic” Absolutely gorgeous cabin; spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Ideal for our family. There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis and crazy golf all on site, ideal for our active teenagers. Table tennis and a little cafe serving food and drinks also available. Lovely grounds to explore and close to lots of local attractions.

“Superb family weekend away” We stayed as a party of 11 - 6 adults, 5 children - and found both the house and location perfectly suited to our requirements. The beds were large and comfortable (although the rooms slightly warm and we did not find any fans), the kitchen was well stocked and came with a great welcome pack that was a bonus. The weather turned out warmer than we expected which meant we made a lot use of the BBQ hut, hot tub, children's play area and ice machine in the American style fridge freezer. The sky TV throughout was a nice touch although we didn't make much use of it preferring to be outside or playing pool. One very minor grumble I would have is that the patio furniture on the decking area left a lot to be desired - only 2 of the 4 plastic chairs were usable and those were flimsy at best. This certainly was not in keeping with the rest of the house. I must also make glowing recommendation for the excellent customer service we received on two counts. Firstly, when the hot tub was not heating up and I contacted Brett, within minutes he had dispatched his neighbour round to reset the controls and it started heating up immediately. Very impressed! Secondly, when we arrived home and realised that my youngest daughter had managed to unpack her favourite comforter and leave it behind just prior to our departure I contacted Brett again and he arranged for the comforter to be located and posted back to me. All in all, it was a terrific weekend and I would gladly return or recommend.

“Lovely place to spend a few days relaxing” Had a long weekend at Dartmoor View Lodges. Excellent location, very quiet and relaxing. Lodge we stayed in was very comfortable and cosy. Sally and her husband Andrew were very helpful suggesting places to go in the area. We'll be back in the summer when the days are longer to explore more.

“Absolutely fabulous place to stay, highly recommend.” Ashen Cross is a fantastic place to spend a holiday, very close to beautiful Looe and other lovely places to visit. Never had such a fantastic welcome as we've had here, the owners cannot do enough for their guests. Can't wait to visit again.

“Fantastic, well equipped apartment, great for families” Reading all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor made us choose this apartment for a long weekend in Whitby with family. We were not disappointed - the apartment was fantastic. A great location within walking distance of the town and beach and a great playground opposite, which our 2 year old especially enjoyed. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could ever need - we especially appreciated the dishwasher and bluetooth hi-fi. The rooms were all clean, comfortable and well-decorated - we couldn't have asked for more. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable family holiday.

“New year” Stayed in The Dairy Barn for New Year with a group of friends. Had a great time. Lovely accommodation done to a high standard and great hot tub. Could do with some hooks or towel rails to dry towels in bathrooms though. Owners close by if needed but not intrusive. Have already booked again!
