“Wonderful Stay” This cottage was everything we could ask for. Wendy and Adrian made us feel at home. When we arrived there was a fire burning, a bottle of wine, a cake and a welcome note. The cottage has all of the amenities and a fantastic location. The tranquil area with fields of sheep, horses and cows is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of regular life. The walks and drives around the area, the Castles and villages in close proximity to the cottage filled our days with explorations. Cardington is 2 miles away, an attractive village with an old pub. Church Stretton is only a short drive away and has a market, shops, places to eat and drink and a friendly atmosphere.We would definitely return to Caradoc Cottage for another visit.

“Fantastic” Absolutely gorgeous cabin; spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Ideal for our family. There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis and crazy golf all on site, ideal for our active teenagers. Table tennis and a little cafe serving food and drinks also available. Lovely grounds to explore and close to lots of local attractions.

“Very clean, modern, well thought out barn in beautiful countryside” I should start by saying the owners were very accommodating. We were visited within an hour of arrival to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it was! They have thought of nearly everything you might need from ironing board to a fresh milk in the fridge! As for the property itself, it is situated in an agricultural development and there were some stables nearby that were unfinished. You get the impression that there is still working ongoing in the area but this didn't effect our stay. The cottage is very modern inside but with nice character touches such as the oak beams. The pictures don't do it justice, it is very spacious with a lovely airy feel. There is a small garden area but a short walk takes you into beautiful countryside with clearly marked public rights of way. Also, whilst feeling isolated from the modern hustle and bustle, the cottage is in fact only a 15minute stroll from the lovely village of Battle with its range of shops, restaurants and the Historic Abbey. We really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend the cottage.

“Amazing time!” The location was fab and the house was lovely! It was a great base for daily excursions - Snowdon, Portmeiron and Zipworld are all under 2 hours away by car. Sally (the owner) was also lovely and very helpful - would definitely stay again!

“Absolutely fantastic” Have to say this place was amazing. Extremely high standard, well maintained, owners couldn't be more helpful or friendly. An entire week of relaxing and unwinding with no streetlights and no external noise. Even the animals were friendly - farm dog moved in with us for most of the week. Will definitely be making a return visit

“Lovely cottage, great location” This is a beautiful cottage, plenty of space and easy to find. The location is lovely, right on the coast, walking distance from a beautiful beach, just make sure the tides out! There is access to a children's park and a pool which my daughter loved and it's on a farm so lots of cows and sheep which also went down well! My only issuea and they are only little ones are that the kitchen tap dripped constantly which drove us a bit insane and the plug in the downstairs bathroom kept sticking. But apart from that the whole property was stunning and even though there was only 2 of us it was ideal for much larger parties.

“Perfect Apartment in a Great Location” Fantastic apartment, well appointed, more or less within the main town area, with the shops, bars and restaurants all easily reached on foot within 5 mins. The views over the river through the glass doors in the lounge and from the balcony were uninterrupted, providing a great observation point for river activities throughout the day whatever the weather. The parking space for this apartment was a great bonus, one of the few places in Fowey to have one. We made great use of the kayaks, to explore the local area from the water, which was one of the highlights of our week. They were easy to access from the boathouse below and launching from the slipway in front of the boathouse. Colin the caretaker was always contactable when we had any queries. Can't wait to return next year.

“This cottage has every thing” Sansome House Cottage has plenty of room and has all the comforts of home. This is the perfect place to stay for resting and recharging or as a base to explore south west UK. Felicity has thought of everything for the comfort of guests and for those who like to explore, there are plenty of brochures and references to help plan the day's activities. It's only a short walk to the local pubs; thoroughly recommended. We enjoyed every moment and were reluctant to leave. Thoroughly recommended!

“Very well equipped and spacious house in fantastic location” We often visit Skye during October for a combined walking and family holiday. Our ideal is somewhere close to local amenities yet sufficiently remote to enjoy the beautiful countryside and wildlife. Heatherfield Lodge was, by a clear margin, the best house ever! We could walk from the door, enjoy a marvellous view from the front windows and our son loved the games room, big TV and internet for his Xbox. The house is large, very well equipped, warm and comfortable.

“Everything you could need in a cosy cottage.” This was a well appointed cottage that we booked to use as a base for a family celebration.
