“Really cute and lovely” Upon arrival, my first impression was how cute it looks from the outside. A great level of attention has also been put into the decoration both outside and inside. It looked better than on the pictures I saw on the internet beforehand! The farm on which this resides is also very well kept and it makes a good impression as you drive towards the farmhouse, which is close to where the cottages are. It's lovely to hear the birds singing and enjoy the open space and the many trees in front of the cottages. Unfortunately there's also the ambient noise of the motorway reaching this far, but not overwhelmingly so. The owner also had the barbecue ready for us with some tools and matches - we just had to bring our own charcoal and firelighters and of course food. We used the barbecue on both evenings which was just awesome. There was a table with two chairs and also a hammock! The kitchen was well equipped and had the basic cutlery etc. There is also a toaster, a hob and a small oven as well as a fridge which was very handy. They also provided some milk for us which was very helpful to get us started with the provided coffee and biscuits in the morning. The shower and toilet works well and there was plenty of hot water. Overall everything was very clean and neat when we arrived. Two things a missed in the kitchen were an oven mitt and a bottle opener. The bathroom could do with an extra hook or two and also a shelve or two so that you don't end up having stuff on the floor. The bed was good but for two people it's not very spacious and I think if you're taller than 180cm you might find it too short. I would definitely recommend you try this place - we had a really good weekend here.

“Family time well spent” Firstly I'd like to say, don't take bad reviews on board too much when booking into an establishment such as this. The clue is in the title 'glaming'! Myself, my partner and my 4 year old daughter booked a 2 night stay and wasn't at all sure what to expect but knew that Whitby was a lovely location with beautiful views. On arrival it was a little unclear as to where to book in but we soon found the owner whom casually showed us to our hut and explained the local walk ways, directed us to the communal toilet/shower block and to where we could freely use a bbq for our stay. The hut was clean, comfortable with fresh bedding and adequate room for our small party. The view was breathtaking and there is a small park on site for younger children. Also an added bonus for my daughter was the animals that lived on the farm. There is a cattery that housed many rescue cats and thier kittens. Over the far side of the farm was an array of wildlife- owls, seagulls, cockerals, pigs, peacocks, ferrets,a friendly sheep and many more. The only negative I have to report is that the communal block could have been set out better. Really really enjoyed our stay, may consider revisiting again next year

“Absolutely Amazing!!! 10000% worth booking - you will not be disappointed!” From the moment we arrived at the Eco Pod, everything was perfect. The pod was fully equipped, BBQ facilities, cutlery, plates, lanterns, logs & coal. If you needed it, it was there. The Eco Pod was absolutely beautiful, clean & the half acre of land with it was just a brilliant bonus. Caroline was so friendly & helpful & nothing would have been to much hassle to ask. Without a doubt the most beautiful accommodation, area & stay. I would recommend it to anyone!! You will not be disappointed!

“Full of character in a lovely area” A very nicely appointed and characterful place for two people to stay. The photographs give a good impression of the facilities. The area is excellent, full of every kind of attraction including a very nice beach a few minutes easy drive away, and the South Downs Way, which is even closer. We intend to go back.
