“Fantastic location, beautiful house.” We stayed at Bushcombe House Farm for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. We were over from Perth Australia and met up with our three grown up children and extended family at the house. It was a brilliant place for a family get-together. Peter and Linda had set up a Christmas tree in the house for us and the place was very well quipped with everything we could need and in excellent condition. The views from the house were amazing and I can see that this would be a perfect summer holiday place too. Lots of lovely walks around and the beautiful Cotswold villages are all within easy driving distance.
“Ideal for families with young children who want all the comforts of a home in a quiet location” We travelled with our 3 young children aged 5 years, 3 years and the youngest being 7 months old. This house has been refurbished to a very high standard, it has all the equipment you would need, it is like a home away from home. The kitchen in the house is great. The pool is fantastic. You do need a car to stay in this house but supermarkets, beaches and restaurants are within a short drive. We loved the quiet location. We would definitely recommend this house.
“Great House, Great Golf” 4 friends stayed here for a weekend to play a few games of golf at the local courses. The house was perfect and exactly what we needed, plenty of space (both inside and outside), comfortable rooms and beds, games to keep you amused (the table tennis proved popular) and a seriously good upstairs shower and all the facilities you need for a weekend away.
There are several golf courses within 45 mins drive from the house (you will need a car to stay here) all of great quality and although there isn't much in the little village (only a butchers), within a 5-10 min drive you can get everything you need.
Will definitely be coming back again
“Beautiful location, beautiful house, amazing stay!” From booking to arrival our stay at Ta Nenu was amazing! The house was big enough for 6 adults to stay comfortably and enjoy what Gozo had to offer. The piazza in Xaghra was a 10min stroll (uphill) from the house and well worth going. Great food could be found at 'The Breeze' and 'Cafe Reale' serve up delicious cakes, pastries, ice-cream and coffee. We ate in on a couple of occasions taking full advantage of the BBQ and some al fresco dining. Everything we needed was easily found at a local supermarket only 5mins away. The house itself was lovely, the air-con in the bedrooms was a welcomed relief from the scorching summer heat and the view from the roof was breathtaking. From the first enquiry, through to booking and our stay Bronwyn was very helpful, she happily organised our transfers to and from the airport (a highly recommend this service!) Teresa was there on arrival to hand over the keys and provide us with the necessary information about the house itself, overall Ta Nenu is a lovely house and well worth the stay!
“christmas no.2” Great setting with good views of The Howgills and lots of walks none of which entailed road walking. Well laid out and nicely decorated rooms, plenty of space for all 9 0f us + baby. Plenty of bathrooms and a hot tub which was excellent. Owners could not have been better.
Everyone wishes to return and repeat the experience.
“A beautiful home in a lovely, relaxing location with views to die for!” From the minute we drove up to Les Guillamaux we knew we were going to have a great holiday. The house itself is beautiful and very well equipped, the owners really have thought of everything. The children really enjoyed the pool and gardens and the views are absolutely stunning! Myi parents loved the area so much they have since bought a house there!
