“A unique and special place to stay” A beautiful and extremely cute cottage in a very pretty setting. We were thrilled on turning up to see this lovely cottage. It was a wonderful opportunity to live in a 400 year old cottage and we loved the window seats, low ceilings and beams. The cottage has all modern conveniences too which we very much appreciated - our stay could not have been more comfortable. Despite our luck with great weather, we did light the fire (ready made up for us by the owner) one evening too. It was good to be able to sit outside with a choice of garden or seating outside the cottage and enjoy the sun. A 40 minute easy drive took us to Bude for the day and we also visited Tavistock with its independent shops and the pannier market. Exeter is close for a visit to bigger shops and is a nice city. We also found time to explore Dartmoor which was lovely. The owner, Teela, was extremely helpful and very friendly from start to finish and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more - a huge thank you!

“Perfect summer holiday” We very much enjoyed our one week stay in Pomegranate Cottage in Lapta and we are looking forward to return in the future to enjoy Berke and his family's hospitality again. Pomegranate Cottage is a new establishment and is equipped with everything that one would ever need for a great holiday. It really feels like being at home. There is a spacious American-style living room/kitchen with a comfortable sofa, Sony HD TV with USB input, perfectly reliable Wifi, water dispenser that accommodates 19 liter balloon, fridge, washing machine, and all kinds of kitchen cutlery to self cater. The bedroom is air-conditioned and it has a double bed with absolutely comfortable mattress and a wardrobe for your clothes. The bathroom has shower, toilet and a wash basin. There are fruit trees that separate the villas from each other, so the other guests are almost invisible to you. Parking is just outside nearby the road. No traffic at night at all, no noise. There is a relaxing, hotel-managed beach in just 5 minutes walking distance (Sempati Beach) The nearby family-run restaurant (Sevket's) is a welcoming place to enjoy a home-made Klefitko (let them know 5 hours before you arrive), kebabs, fish of the day, hummus etc. Highly recommended! There is also a pool attached to the restaurant which you are allowed to use if you eat/drink something at the restaurant. There is a fantastic meze place just a few minutes driving towards west on the left side opposite to a tyre shop called Alti Ãœstü Meyhane run by a really nice couple. Set menu available for 45 TL pp so much food that even the two of us could not finish the meals. Highly recommended! For lunch, we went to CafeCafe a few times on the right side not far towards Kyrenia. Overall, having spent our third vacation in Northern Cyprus/Kyrenia area, we can say that Berke's apartment exceeded our expectation, and we would honestly recommend the apartment to anyone who is looking for the perfect self-catering place to stay on holiday.

“Comfy Cottage” We booked this cottage in January after deciding to take a short break to the Lizard Peninsular. The booking was easy and correspondence from the owner was excellent. On arrival at the cottage we received tea and coffee as well as scones and cream. The location was perfect for exploring the area either walking or by car. As we had 2 dogs with us it was ideal as there was a short walk down to Kennack Sands beach. We will definitely be visiting again; hopefully for a short summer break. Thank you.

“ideally situated” we have stayed 5 times so fay at the fisherman's rest. suffice to say it fulfils our needs to be near the Cairngorms, Balmoral, inverness airport , loch ness, fort william, grantown on spey , cromarty . etc.... over the years there has been a continued updating of the interior which makes it a comfortable pleasant place to stay.... The Cottage has about every amenity you would require ...no jacuzzi ....who needs a jacuzzi with the sea within 200 mtrs. albeit colder. the owners sue & david have always managed to squeeze us in the busy calander ......We even booked the cottage for my sons honeymoon, and the lady who manages the cottage ( Janet) got her husband to dress up and play a lament on his bagpipes to start off their honeymoon.. plenty of walks about for the adventurous..... but we feel a car is a must to tour the area as there are so many beautiful place to visit and then return back to the cottage.

“Great Couples Getaway” I booked the Stables as a surprise for my partner's Birthday. In the lead up to our trip anne, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful via email so I had high expectations which were met and even surpassed upon arrival. The property was absolutely beautiful, in a very good condition and very clean (the photos do not do it justice). It was the perfect amount of space for 2 for a short break with a lovely comfy bed, cosy living room and good sized kitchen and bathroom. Doors opened out on to the garden and there was a table and chair outside where we had breakfast most mornings. Anne had prepared a hamper for our arrival which included the essentials; tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, cakes and even a bottle of wine and card for my partner's Birthday which was a lovely touch. The cottage is well placed for exploring Kent by car or bus (bus stop at the top of the driveway), particularly Sandwich and Canterbury which are close by. There is also a very informative binder with leaflets and ideas for things to do in the local area although, we found just chatting with anne and Rob gave us plenty of inspiration! We would definitely book this cottage again.

“A Hidden Gem” A delightful place to stay with lovely helpful hosts. It gave us exactly what we wanted - well furnished, private and quiet with beautiful surroundings to look at and enjoy.
