“Total escape!” Extremely comfortable and very well kept lodge - in a completely tranquil setting away from the pace of everyday life. Nestled in amongst the forest - extremely narrow single track roads to reach it - that took some getting used to especially in a bigger car! Plenty of walks amongst the national park and places to visit with young children within decent driving distance. Beautiful scenery and beaches nearby. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are physically able - only shame was the swimming pool was out of action for the season -which would have been perfect as we had a really hot few days! Owner very communicative and accommodating.

“Perfect, well appointed, modern yet cosy lodge.” Just returned from a 3 night stay for my 50th Birthday. The lodge was easy to find from the emailed instructions, The park lies almost exactly between Alnwick and Morpeth. The park itself is small enough to feel local but big enough to have a nice walk round. The park has a small clubhouse which serves food and drinks - we had breakfast there before setting off home and it was good quality and fair price. The lodge itself is very nice, high quality furniture and fittings, big screen TV with full (movies and sports ) sky package. Freeview flatscreens in the bedrooms too. We also made use of the built in bluetooth speaker system which I connected my Ipad to for spotify. As others have mentioned the hottub is great - already set up at the correct temp before we arrived. Mel met us to check everything was in order and said to contact her directly if we needed anything. We loved the area taking our dog out during the day to explore with a bit of shopping in Morpeth for my wife thrown in too ! If you dont want to use the clubhouse then everything in the evenings will mean driving - I didnt want to do that so we ate lunch out and cooked at night and spent time in the hottub then with a movie or the football later on. For us it was perfect - we really enjoyed the break, we felt the price was more than fair considering the high class lodge and all the extras thrown in - the welcome pack was indeed very welcome. we will be back at either this lodge or one of the other 2 on the same park owned by the same family.

“Brilliant choice, fantastic view and superb accommodation.” The apartment was modern, finished to a high standard and tastefully decorated. The view was breathtaking with large windows overlooking the sea -there were even binoculars to use in order to track passing ships. The beach was only metres away and restaurants were very close. Our aim was to visit Beamish which was a short drive away. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we would definitely consider using it again. We didn't want to leave!

“Lovely chalet in peaceful surroundings with a sea view and the dog loved it too.” The chalet is sufficiently isolated by the 36 step climb to reach it that peace and quiet reigned. A lovely sea view to wake up to and the facilities, in the chalet, were great. The only thing was, it would have benefited from a frying pan for breakfast time. The children and the dog loved the location . I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

“A delightful stay.” What an amazing place, everything you could wish for. Beautiful garden, wonderful breakfast and perfect for our two dogs. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Local pub had great food and dog friendly. Victoria, the owner, was lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend Orchard Studio. It is a very special place. One review I read before I booked said it was uber cute and that is exactly what it was. Have to say it was just perfect. Many thanks.

“Fantastic bungalow” Stayed for a long weekend over the Easter break. Fantastic, clean and well equipped bungalow, with WiFi which was a huge bonus with our children (aged 11 and 16) as the weather wasn’t great. Added extra of having Now TV in 2 of the rooms. The kids loved the large settee that fitted us all on to watch a movie and they even slept in there one night rather than in the twin room. Plenty of storage and coat hangers. Even though we didn’t take our dogs with us, would have been the perfect holiday bungalow for dogs. Close to the sea front and shops, great chinese takeaway nearby that delivered. Will definitely book again to come back and stay.

“Wonderful walking break” The site (White Cross Holiday Park) is well situated, a short drive away from Windermere, Ambleside etc and close to plenty of walks. The lodge was excellent, well equipped and really clean. It felt like a luxury home away from home. Absolutely couldn't fault it at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would happily return again. 5 stars.

“Amazing stay at Bluebell hut” My boyfriend and I had a 3 night break here for October half term and we had an amazing time! The hut is so cute and had everything we needed. It was well equipped which made us feel at home. It was clean, tidy and just a lovely place to escape to. The views from the hot tub and garden which is private were beautiful, especially if you get a good sunset. On arrival, Carol greeted us and showed us around the hut and told us everything we needed to know. There is a very informative folder in the hut which explains everything if you forget. Communication prior to arrival was good and she is great at replying to any questions you may have about your stay. The hot tub and fire pit was something we used every night. Carol ensured there was enough logs and fire lighters as well as providing robes, crocs, towels and plastic cups for outside and use around the hot tub. The welcome basket with a loaf of bread, jams, crisps and small biscuits was a great touch. There was also some milk, water and butter in the fridge. Very useful to know in advance when planning a small food shop. Sainsburys is just 3 miles away from the hut on Westhampnett Road, Chichester. We ate lunch at The Fox Goes Free which served lovely food and would highly recommend especially if you were going to walk the 9.6 miles there and back like we did!! My shins are still aching!! We spent a day in Selsey Bill which is just a 25 minute drive away from the hut and had a cold but lovely walk along the beach. We ate in the Riveria cafe for lunch. Later that evening, we ate one of the best meals I’ve ever had at the Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant which is part of the Goodwood Hotel. We walked there as it was less than a mile away. If you want to do some fine dining, this is the place! The food was just exquisite and I would highly recommend it. We also ate breakfast after we checked out at a place called Boxies in Boxgrove which is just over a mile away. It’s also a farm shop and we had the best Full English and large coffee each to set us up for the journey home. If you didn’t want to eat out, there is a fully functioning oven with a grill and an induction hob with 2 rings to cook on. We were sad to leave and will definitely want to return in the summer!

“Our stay at Seamoor House” Excellent house for a large family reunion. Every bedroom en-suite, good facilities, 3 rooms and large kitchen downstairs (plus children’s playhouse in garden) made sure everyone had space to enjoy themselves. Great location, minutes from the beach, also a short drive to the moors for amazing walks.
