“Perfection in the Peaks” Chapel House is exactly as it looks on the photos - a perfectly peaceful haven set at the bottom of lush rolling hills where the main 'traffic' is the four legged kind who lazily graze in the fields above.
Apart from the beauty of the surrounding countryside, I loved the homely feel of Chapel House. It is comfortable and cosy and equipped with all the essentials. In many senses, it felt like 'home'. I loved the fact that when I ran out tinfoil, I could borrow and replace. There was salt, pepper and oil on the windowsill, all we needed to get a fire going, games for rainy weather, CDs, DVDs , books, blankets, and a file containing everything we needed to know about the house and nearby places of interest.
It was the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Peak District or simply to close the door and head off into the hills behind the house. We came away feeling 100% rested.
Thank you David.
“Nice cottage Nice village Nice area” Lovely barn conversion in nice village with2 pubs within walking distance. Both serve meals.
Cottage well serviced. O. K. for 2 adults & 2 children. Not a lot of space for 4 adults.
Lacking in a little more outdoor space for sitting out on nice days.
