“A lovely stay, will be back!” We were very pleased we had picked to stay at the Cow shed and were greeted by the very kind and pleasant owners who showed us around the cottage. We were touched by the small touches that were left for us including flowers and chocolate brownies, our favourite! We had a wonderful time and felt that the cottage was very well equipped. We enjoyed food at local pubs and an indian restaurant. We will be back again I am sure!
These shepherds huts are new and the grounds are still being finished but they are set in a beautiful location which makes up for it and we would definitely recommend staying there. We received a really warm welcome and fresh milk, bananas, biscuits , tea, coffee, fresh bread and butter were all provided. The hut we stayed in was really comfortable with all the mod cons provided a small hob, microwave, TV, modern bathroom, dressing gowns .... basically there wasn't anything that had not been thought off. There were even lamas in the field. Would stay there again. …
'Stunning Hidden Gem If you book one place in Glossop it has to be this one'
Amazing cottage , warm, cosy, exceptionally clean. Wood burner , constant hot water, great shower with the luxury of a bath too. Everything you could ask for and need for 1 or 2 people. A hidden gem at the top of a now developed area but straight across the road open fields and moorland with stunning views of the Derbyshire valley's. Very quiet and the owners have thought of everything and on hand for anything you need. Welcome pack of homemade brownies, tea/coffee/sugar/milk & flowers. I did a few solo walks but really did not want to go out and stay inside just to take it all in. Everyone wants sunny warms days but quite honestly if it had been snowing/gale force winds I would have been quite happy to stay snuggled up inside. If you are with car Aldi and Tesco down on main street. Would most definitely go back. Went in February 2018 4 days and sunny crisp days so did not get to sit outside, but in summer evenings with the sunset over the hills would be a delight. Beehive pub less than 2 mins walks and great food and friendly owners. Could not have asked for a more quiet romantic place to stay - anyone hesitating - don't - you will not be disappointed! Thank you Wendy and Andrew for letting me stay in your cottage x …
Burnswark Cottage With Four Poster Bed And Wi.Fi. Sleeps Two only.
This review is from my parent's as I booked them 2 night's away with their dog Jess:
Pat gave us a very friendly welcome to the cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay including a welcome tray with teas, coffee, milk.... even biscuits! The garden was huge, fully enclosed and private. Our dog, Jess, enjoyed laying out in the sunshine. The off road parking was handy. I was worried that the bedrooms were at the front so there would be lots of road noise but it was quiet on a night. The four poster bed was very comfy and we both slept well. Hatfield has a few small shops and is close to some lovely walks. We would recommend this property and the area for a relaxing break.
They had a fabulous time and would definitely stay again. …

BrookBay Apartment 1
Spacious, modern apartment.
Ideal location for exploring the Peak District - within easy reach of Buxton, Bakewell and many walking trails. Glossop itself is quite a busy little place, with lots of good places to eat. We particularly enjoyed The Italian and the Indian on the High Street. We has a short stay, but would visit again and would probably stay for longer next time!
The apartment had plenty of space, was very clean and warm, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. …
