“Lovely Cottage in a Picturesque Village” Stayed at Well Cottage for four nights and was very impressed. It is located very close to the centre of Bourton on the Water so no need to use the car. The cottage was very clean and the owners and housekeeper very friendly! Would definitely recommend a stay.

“What a great place” What a lovely cottage, right next to the river and minutes from everywhere in the village. We stayed with our 9 month old son and the open plan ground floor allowed us to keep an eye on him. We loved the quirkiness and old world charm of the cottage and will be returning later in the year. We stayed for a week in early January and got hit by the heavy snow which all added to the charm of the village which has lots to offer including bird land 100 yards up the road, a model village just across the little river 50 yards away and enough small cafes, pubs and eateries to keep you happy. The location of the village is also within 10 minutes of lots of other lovely places and things to do including the wildlife park in lovely Burford and Adam Hensons Farm from country file. What a great cottage, great village and we will be back in September to visit the other bits of the Cotswolds that we missed.

“Pussycat Cottage” This delightful cottage set in the heart of Boughton on the Water was clean warm and furnished to a high standard. We felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. Everything we required to make our stay perfect was available for us. I could highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to enjoy time in the Cotswolds. Unfortunately it would not be suitable for a person who has difficulty climbing stairs Thank you for a great weekend break

“Excellent cottage in superb location” The cottage was in a very good shape, very clean and tiday, all appliances were functional, the beds were perfect, there were more than enough towels for us (2 adults, 2 children), wonderful crockery and enough cutlery and everything else for the kitchen. So all we can say is that we had a very nice holiday at Allerton Cottage!

“A gem of a place” A lovely holiday home in a great location. Ten of us recently stayed here to celebrate a special family birthday - everyone loved the house and the location. It was spacious, very clean and well equipped which meant that we could instantly relax and enjoy it. The kitchen and dining area was a great area for everyone to socialise in whilst preparing and eating meals. The house is an easy walk into Bourton on the Water and a great base in which to visit other beautiful Cotswold areas. Michael was very helpful and the welcome hamper was an unexpected bonus which was very well received. Would highly recommend.

“Great place for touring the Cotswolds.” We booked our week's stay online from New Zealand, and everything ran perfectly smoothly from the time we arrived. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable with everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. The kitchenette was well supplied. The lounge was comfortable with TV and Wi-Fi. The bedroom provided a comfortable sleep. One bonus was off-street parking for our car. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Coach House.

“Lovely Cottage - great location - home from home!” Jack's cottage was beautiful, well maintained and clean. We had a lovely stay here and wish we had stayed longer. The cottage is right in the centre of Bourton-on-water, literally 2minutes walk to the riverside, restaurants and shops. There was space for two cars to park. The garden though small was sunny and had table, chairs and parasol which were lovely. The house itself was lovely - really clean and the owner had clearly made a lot of effort to make it welcoming for us (wine, biscuits, tea, coffee etc). There was nothing missing. Can't recommend this cottage enough - we had a lovely time!

“Charming and spacious period Cotswolds cottage in centre Bourton-on-the-Water, a rare gem!” The Vine House was our home during four days in July, 2018. It is a lovely, well presented and charming cottage with plenty of room for our party of six adults. Three large bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. Complete kitchen, separate dining room and lovely sitting room with sumptuous sofa's and an inglenook. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The outside area (a delightful courtyard/patio with comfortable furniture) is secluded and allows for perfect breakfasts in the morning sun. The house is very clean. Everything one could wish for. A perfect base to explore Bourton and the Cotswolds, with fine restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Interesting events nearby. E.g. we visited a classical concert by internationally renowned musicians in Guiting Power, a lovely village tucked away in astonishingly beautiful countryside. We certainly recommend Vine House to others and hope to come back to it some day.

“Fantastic” The cottage was roomy, welcoming and cosy. Beds were comfortable and with different degrees of soft/hard mattresses in various rooms to cater to different tastes. House was close (walking distance) to all amenities and Bourton-on-Water. Also central to all other Cotswold villages, Bath, etc. Children thoroughly enjoyed it especially the kiwi/aussie daughter because the owners put on "snow" for our first few days (probably not something they can guarantee, but we found it wonderful, coming from a hot summer)!! Cannot sing the praises of this cottage enough.

“Cosy well presented cottage in centre of town” This is a very conveniently located cottage down a short cul de sac off the main street. Very well equipped and exceptionally clean which is always required as far as we are concerned. It is cosy and would not suit anyone with mobility issues but has been cleverly restored with excellent use of available space. There is a path behind the cottage that caused a small issue one evening but really overall this is a very quiet location. Parking is tight but certainly not overly difficult to get into. The bedroom particularly was lovely and comfortable with quality bedding and we slept well. The outside space is small but a sun trap that is fine for sitting in the evening with a glass of wine. For our 3 night stay it was ideal and no complaints whatsoever from us.

“Found Perfection !” We spent half term at Spring Cottage for a week with my daughter husband and two grandchildren. And wow what a fantastic time we had, from the minute we opened the front door. The cottage was emaculate beautiful and so well equipped . Not a single thing had not been thought about , we had every thing we needed. Including flowers chocolates and the wood burner all ready to go ! Bourton on the Water is a lovely Coswold Village and the Motor Museum and Birdland ( all a short walk from the cottage ) were well worth a visit. The children were so delighted to walk to the end of the garden go through a gate and into a little hidden park. Thank you Linsey a wonderful owner to deal with.

“Welcome Cottage lives up to its name.” Our week at Welcome Cottage was the perfect venue for my 60th birthday celebrations with our extended family and friends. Its location just beyond the village centre is ideal as it was extremely quiet but just a few minutes from the high street. There was plenty of space for 12 people to eat, sleep and relax with a sunny conservatory overlooking the garden. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and although spacious, felt very welcoming and homely. If you want a holiday cottage in a lovely part of the Cotswolds that can accomodate a large group I can thoroughly recommend Welcome Cottage.

Jack’s House - Bourton on the Water

Jack’s House is a real gem in the heart of Bourton on the Water. The house is amazing, so cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, a home from home! It is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The ‘welcome tray’ was much appreciated and very thoughtful of the owners. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful home, you won’t be disappointed. Booking was very straightforward and it was a pleasure corresponding with Alison the owner. Everything about our stay was just perfect, except the weather but then it is the U.K.! Thank you Alison!see more

We have stayed at Alderley House 3 times now and always had a lovely weekend. The house is very clean comfortable and well equipped. We park the cars in front of the house and they stay there until we leave. It is a lovely walk into town and there are lots of places to eat or just have a coffee. The owners are always very helpful and friendly. We will be back again in 2020 and hopefully for a few more years after thatsee more

Fabulous house, ideal for a get together!

We booked Welcome Cottage for a family birthday which included adults and children. The property was perfect for our group of eleven with decent size communal areas for us all to be together without it feeling overcrowded. The Dining area was perfect and the large Conservatory was ideal for our children to play and put on a show! Beautifully decorated throughout, feeling traditional and characterful without being old fashioned. Highly recommended!see more

We stayed here with our little dog and it’s a fabulous cottage, brilliant location, beautifully done out, with lots of beams, inglenook fireplace etc. The pictures don’t do it justice.
