“Beautiful cottage” Cottage was lovely, and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The location is also perfect, with a lovely pub within walking distance. We were accommodated at very late notice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
“Perfect weekend away” The cottage is in a perfect location for stroll into town. Well equipped, beautifully furnished with a nice courtyard garden. It felt like home after about 5 minutes and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.
“Fab cottage” Great cottage with everything you need for a home from home experience!
Clean and tidy and all well decorated. Lovely garden with table chairs which we enjoyed breakfast in the sunshine. The location is superb for exploring all the nearby pubs and restaurants just a 2 minute stroll from the door.
Must also recommend a visit to Osteria on the wold a small Italian restaurant in a hidden courtyard I am sure you won't be disappointed.
I will certainly be returning to the area and indeed serendipity cottage.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
“FANTASTIC APARTMENT and LANDLORD!” We stayed in the James William Apartment in the delightful town of Stow on the Wold for 4 nights. It was better than the pictures and Ian was one of the best landlords we have had. We travel often and rent apartments, so we are fussy. In this instance, the apartment was spotless, and generously appointed. The layout is unique and full of character, and offers modern amenities. The shower pressure and hot water were great. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, which we did. Ian was responsive to all our questions and provided prompt service when we needed assistance. The bed was comfortable and the apartment is situated on a quiet little street, so sleeping was easy. Although we did not need a car space, the apartment comes with a parking space. Stow on the Wold is a delightful town and we encountered extremely nice people who were more than eager to help us get to know their town and the area. Visit the butcher shop and the cheese shop across the street. Stop in the used bookstore and talk to the lovely couple who manage it. Pop into the Queen's Head Pub and chat up the publican. Have tea at Lily's. Take a tour or two with Tour Gems with Genny (awesome). If you need a ride, contact Sean Hetcher (Bourton on the Water Private Hire). Enjoy a place in a time gone by.
“Lovely cottage, in great location for walks, shops and restaurants” Lovely cottage in great location for walks, shops and restaurants. Very well equipped in the kitchen, board games and dvds available for rainy days. Small selection of kids toys to keep them entertained.
Me and 7 of my girl friends stayed here for 2nights, with 8 girls having 4 bathrooms was ideal! Very spacious and comfortable..would highly recommend!
Nice little touches such as cake and milk for cups of tea on arrival!!
“A Perfect Cottage in a Perfect Location” 6 of us (all adults) stayed here for a long weekend as it was our Christmas present to each other.
On arrival our first impression was is it going to be big enough but once through the front door, into the hallway which had a large open fireplace with a log burner in, it opened up like the Tardis. 4 good sized bedrooms, a large, well equipped kitchen/diner. A large sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating for 8, another open fireplace and log burner, large TV and a selection on board games.
There was a welcome basket in the kitchen which provided us with Bread, Butter, Milk, Jam, Bacon & Eggs and a bottle of wine.
Despite it's age this property is extremely comfortable and maintained to a very high standard. There is a good sized rear garden, overlooking open fields, with a large gas barbecue.
Little Swell is only 1 mile from Stow on the Wold which has plenty of places to eat & drink as well as a couple of takeaways. We ate at The Porch House and would have no problem recommending it. If you prefer to stay local The Golden Ball is only 100 yds from the cottage and serves good quality pub food.
We would not hesitate returning to Leys View Cottage.
“Delightfull Cottage Exceeded All Expectations” Park House Cottage in Stow on the Wold was a perfect location for exploring the Beautiful Cottsworld Countryside. This property is an absolute delightful Retreat to return to after a long day.Beautifully appointed to a high standards. The cottage is surrounded by picture perfect gardens. We look forward to a return visit to Park House.
“excellent accomodation” We have just spent four days at south view cottage, and I can honestly say that it is the nicest break we have had, the cottage is beautiful with a lot of thought going into the decor. Everything was provided., and the weather was loveley so we were able to sit in the very pretty garden. WE would certainly love to go again.
“5 star accommodation and 5 star service” Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends - 10 adults, 4 kids, baby and a dog. Accommodation was amazing and couldnt fault it for large family gatherings etc. Weather wasnt really suited to swimming but 2 of the kids braved the pool and they had a great time.
Picturesque villages nearby and pub at Blockley did lovely Sunday lunch for large group at short notice.
Sarah at GIVE properties couldnt have been more helpful and even posted back a teddy bear that was accidently left behind.
“Perfect!” My family and I stayed in the Old Brewery House for my mum and aunts 60th birthday celebrations.
The weekend was perfect. The Old Brewery House is situated in the centre of the beautiful cotswolds so there are plenty of places to visit for walks / pubs e.t.c the grounds around the house are stunning.
The house itself was perfect, there were 9 of us staying and all agreed we hope to return.
