“Faultless, beautiful house, fantastic hot tub!” The booking process and dealing with Woodlands Retreat was excellent and that carried on to the property. The house is in a fantastic location, beautiful countryside, and stunning views. The attention to detail in the house is faultless, from the decoration to the excellently stocked kitchen. Hotel quality bed linen and super comfortable beds. Couldn't fault the whole stay and would definitely use this company and their properties again.

“Beautiful house and beautiful gardens” Amazing place. Loved the kitchen as we could get quite a few people in there helping out with meals etc. Bedrooms were a great size and the bathrooms very clean and even well set out. Bathroom on the first floor has a huge bath, more like a swimming pool, Absolutely loved it! Grounds were beautiful, if you are looking to get away from it all and not see anyone else then this place is for you. Its right down the end of a single track road so you wont see anyone else at all. Games room was a bit damp and musty but as the weather was great we only spent a few hrs one night in there. Hot tub was a God Send, meant we could all bundle in and have a chill after a fast paced day exploring. House is fully equipped with everything you could want. We were a large party of South Africans and Zimbabweans and we like to braai (BBQ), so when we noticed on arriving that there weren't any braai utensils, Ed from the managing company went straight out and returned an hr later with what we needed :) The overall presentation of the place was very well thought of, lots of room for big families and enough room to have some chill quiet time if that's what you need. If going in the summer then I would recommend taking or buying a fan. All our family sleep with a fan on so we all bought one along, good job as those bedrooms do get quite hot, We also had our 18 month old daughter in our room and having that on for her was essential. WIFI was a bit sketchy. We were in bedroom 2 and we couldn't get signal/access in there. However this wasn't an issue as we found the best place was by the breakfast bar right next to the router or just generally in the kitchen or the cosy lounge. Overall this place is fabulous and hard to find major serious fault with, I would definitely want to go back and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
