“Fantastic stay” Just got back from a great weekend away at this cabin. The views are terrific and the cabin is so cosy and comfortable I could of stayed longer. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine(most appreciated!) and a little note with all details we needed. There were lots of personal touches and the cabin was nicely decorated with all facilities needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin as a great place to stay when you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle and chill out for a while. Plenty of nice places to visit nearby too. Will be in touch to stay again I'm sure. Our little springer Penny loved it too! It's nice to find somewhere dog friendly that is so nice.

“Wonderful stay” We visited Loch view for 3 nights over a weekend at the end of March 2017. We found the accommodation lovely. Very clean and spacious and the 2 bathrooms were a bonus, more than enough room for 4 adults. It was well equipt and very peaceful. Only 10 mins walk down to the main park where there was leisure facilities and a good restaurant, we would definitely recommend it.

“Cabin on Welsh farm” Everything we expected for price, accommodation and location. Host were friendly and helpful even gave us a tour of the farm. Toys in the twin bedrooms for two toddlers proved to be a life saver. Would book again.

“STAY AT RONALDSAY LODGE, STRONTIAN” Amazing stay in one of the most wonderful self-catering accommodation locations we have had on the west coast and we have had a few. Stunning scenery, peace and serenity. Accessibility to fab places to visit such as Ardenmurchan Lighthouse synonymous with being the most westerly point of the whole whole of the UK and Sanna Bay the turquoise water and white Sands v.tropical. Go visit Glenfinnan and view the viaduct which was used in Harry Potter and have lunch on the Dining car. Fort William is great for supplies at the Tescos or Morrisons. The Cabin itself is is fully serviced,felt at home as soon as we got there. Clean, all mod cons. A perfect blend of contemporary and country living. All in all a great time.

“Amazing” This was a very clean lodge with everything you need. The hot tub was one of the best we have had in all the year we have stayed at tattershall country park, very powerful jets. The wifi and sky tv was ideal for teenagers and adults. I would definately book again and recommend to friends and family.

“Quiet and beautiful cabin in fabulous surroundings!” This is a capacious cabin, well equipped, with a very nice atmosphere. The location is excellent, scenic surroundings, access to a salmon river and the possibility of angling. The cabin is also very central in relation to all major tourist attractions, including Gullfoss and Geysir. Highly recommended!

“I wanna back to there and wanna try winter as well” I, together with friends and family, have been twice there. It is one of the best places I had stayed in Lapland. You can have friends with different interests and, given they like the nothern nature, they find whatever they want: hiking, kayaking, fishing, meditating, picking up mushrooms, enjoying silence and peace, etc. When you get tired and get back to Stora Bjornstugan at night, you will get what you need for a comfortable rest: all possible kitchen facilities, big living room, a fire place, sauna, water in all rooms, two toilets, grill, and, if something is missing, you will definitely get help of Lisbet and Pablo. The cabin is equipped with everything for an enjoyable rest. As I know, in the winter time there is a lot to do as well and I'd like to come to there for some time during the winter.

“A perfect getaway from our crazy world” This was our second visit to Rowan Cottage and even more deeply enjoyable than our previous visit in 2011. It is a marvellous location for chilling out and exploring south Loch Ness-side. It has everything we need for a self-catering holiday - good facilities for cooking, for washing and drying, and for watching our Dvds - but also a sense of remoteness so we can get away from the usual rat-race of urban living. There is an excellent village shop and cafe a couple of miles away in Foyers, and a large range of facilities (supermarkets, petrol station, restaurants) in Fort augustus, 16 miles to the south (but a very pleasant 16 miles as the usually quiet road winds its way through and over hills south of Loch Ness). Foyers and Fort augustus are also great places to view the Loch. The old Foyers Pier is accessible by road and gives good views of the middle part of the Loch and especially Foyers Bay, where boats travelling along the Loch often anchor for a while. Fort augustus is even better with Caledonian Canal providing both a small and well-used harbour, and a grand spectacle as boats travelling beyond Loch Ness travel up and down the staircase of locks that is the village centre. This time we were blessed with warm sunny weather - indeed at times too hot. But that weather added to the sense of relaxation in that we did not have to worry about heating or warm clothes, and could enjoy the Cottage's wonderful veranda. This has an indoor and outdoor section so you can choose where best suits you to sit at any time - and then read or sleep or just watch the marvellous view across the woods to the mountains north of the Loch. The great weather meant that we could sit on the veranda and watch the sunset (it faces west) whilst drinking something suitably Scottish. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rowan Cottage and are already thinking on opportunities to visit again. We can strongly recommend it as place to escape and relax.

“Great cottage, great location” If you're looking for a well presented, comfy and relaxing place to stay whilst touring Cork and the surrounding areas, look no further. The exterior of the cottage could use a little TLC but it certainly doesn't do the inside of the property any justice. The accommodation is very comfortable and was excellent value for money. All mod cons are provided and the place was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly presented. The owner also has two gorgeous dogs who gave us a lovely warm welcome on arrival! The cottage is located 15 minutes from the bustling town of Midleton and is a brief half hour from Cork City itself. So you are ideally located for touring around but a car is most definitely essential. Fota Wildlife Park is well worth a visit and is only 20 mins drive from the cottage. One word of warning, we relied on our sat nav to help us find the house and ended up coming in the back way to the property through a lot of dodgy country roads. We really should have used the owners far more sensible directions!! :) Highly recommend and would gladly stay there again.
