“Full of personality!” This is quirky house, with lots of interesting artwork and nik naks! We were 3 colleagues staying here while working nearby and we loved it. We spent hours after work unwinding with a cocktail or two and exploring, looking at all the artwork, books and other sculptural items in the house. There's loads of desk space and a good size dining table in the lounge, decent wi-fi so is a good place for working trips. Katrin very quick with correspondence and answered all of my questions super quickly, and also provided us with a nice bottle of wine. It's extremely hilly in the area (we drove and didn't walk anywhere!) but the local taxi firm recommended by Katrin are a cheap way of getting about, advisable to go to the shops on your way there if not driving as nearest shop down/up a very long steep set of steps. I did personally feel the need to give everything a quick clean on arrival, this house would not suit anyone needing cleanliness and minimalism, but there was more than enough drawer and hanging space made available for three of us. Most of the garden (apart from a small and convenient smoking area by the back door) is very steep and unkempt but full of personality - just like the house!

“North Uist Fishing Trip” After missing our Fishing holiday last year due to the Pandemic we were really looking forward to our adventure on North Uist to hopefully catch some nice Brown Trout. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't kind to fisherman as it was too sunny, too bright and too hot. However, it let us see the island in all it's splendour. The accommodation was perfect. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We will be back next year and hopefully we will bring the cloud and cooler weather...........Sorry tourists.
