“We were in heaven in the Haven” Excellent: Welcome by Hesper, what we expect in an appartment was available, service with the poweradapter, beautiful view from the first floor into the vale of the Severn, central in the Cotswolds.

“Amazing bedrooms - lounge space a bit small” Booked the cottage for a weekend as a a large family celebration (16 of us), the house is located within a small development with some neighbours being permanent residents. It's was a good central location only 10mins from the motorway. The house has fabulous bedrooms, large and very comfy beds, all en-suite. The lounge area though does feel a little small in comparison - the lounge/kitchen/diner are all one space. The lounge couldn't sit us all but the dining table is large and we could all get around comfortably. The garden is also shared and open to the road. One of the neighbours did knock the house door at 8.30pm on Saturday night asking us to keep the noise down, we didn't realise we were being loud so could be a concern if booking for a large group. We were able to pull the windows too and had no further problems but did put a slight dampener on the celebrations.

“Very enjoyable in a lovely property and location” Bramble Barn is a very nice property especially suitable for people with restricted mobility. There was everything we needed except we would have liked additional garden furniture as my parents found the picnic bench uncomfortable to sit at, if they wanted to sit outside. The owners were very pleasant and friendly. although we did find the children next door very noisy at before 7 in the morning. Wotton under Edge is a lovely little town and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

“Cosy Cotswold cottage” My husband and I had a peaceful, comfortable stay in this this lovely cosy cottage for a weekend in December. The cottage has heaps of charm: a picture window upstairs with a delightful view, a wonderful wood-burner, a comfortable bed and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. The owner, Sarah couldn't do enough to make our stay special. It's spotlessly clean, warm and pretty. Frankly, it was tough to leave. Recommended for a get-away-from-it-all break.

“Superb venue for a special occasion” I had read many of the previous reviews and so was expecting something rather special. I can honestly say my expectations were exceeded! I had booked the weekend to celebrate with our family my 70th and we were 10 adults with 8 grandchildren aged 3-17 years. The house was an ideal venue. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bedrooms and bathrooms were elegantly arranged and the kitchen was very well equipped. Being in the middle of the World Cup the boys loved the huge television projector in the Pool Room. The heated outside swimming pool was very popular and there was plenty of outside space for our energetic grandchildren. The owners, Stephen and Candida were very friendly and helpful. Any emails or phone calls prior to the event were responded to quickly. I would strongly recommend Ewelme Manor for any similar celebration.

“Beautiful, homely cottage in amazing surroundings” I travelled to this cottage with my boyfriend and two friends of ours (all in our twenties) and we had such a wonderful long weekend! Chalford village is enchanting and feels like you have stepped back in time a little. Big hills and rivers, ducks and geese walking about and loads of fantastic walks and only a few minutes drive from both Stroud and Nailsworth. The cottage itself is so charming! We felt at home right away, Anna who owns the cottage is lovely and welcoming and they'd even put a Christmas tree up. We found everything we needed to cook with etc and the heating is great for such an old building, we were never cold. Lovely comfy beds too! We spent a few very happy nights in front of the wood burner drinking wine and playing guitar :) we didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!!

“Great Little Cottage” Goods: - Well equipped, nicely renovated throughout. - Kitchen: All appliances and serviceware provided...very convenient - Bathroom: Small, but practical, good hot water in shower - Living Area: Very comfortable, nice entertainment equipment (large flat screen, DVD, Stereo, and fast wireless interent...all excellent! - Bedroom: Queeen bed, very comfortable. - Very clean and safe. - Loaction: Convenient to many local attractions, walking paths, etc. - Highly recommend to others...I would stay here again! Other: - Garden still being landscapped...will be a nice additonal when completed. - Near by pub temporarily closed...will be great when re-opened.

“Cotswold seclusion” Vineyard Cottage is a great place to get away from it all. Nestled in a secluded spot close to Wotton under Edge this is a cozy place to recharge your batteries. The cottage is located off a single track road and consequently the only sounds are the local wildlife and the odd pony. James and Paula are great hosts and happy to provide local recommendations. You must try their sparkling wine from their vineyard next door!!
