“Fabulous venue for our large family” We were celebrating my birthday by getting our family together in one place. We range in age from mid 70s to 2 years old, 12 children and 9 adults. The children spent hours in the beautiful heated pool and also had

Orchard Cottage
Deserves every katat of its gold award

Beautiful location, fantastic cottage. A faultless restoration and incredibly well equipped. The welcome basket on the dining table was great. And opening the fridge to find milk, orange juice butter and a bottle of wine chilling was totally unexpected, but very much appreciated. … see more
Underbury - Self contained annex, lovely village
Lovely relaxing place to stay

Loved every second of our stay here, which we'd booked for my 50th birthday. Accommodation was of a very high standard and in such a relaxing spot. Caroline was a great host and full of local knowledge about the best walks in the area, even leaving me a birthday message on the day we arrived. Shame the weather wasn't better for us but we still managed to make good use of the BBQ and hot tub during our stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a break away from the rat race.see more
Ewelme Manor
The perfect house-party feel

We had a fabulous and memorable weekend and having Ewelme Manor as the venue played a major part in its success. From the outside the building and its grounds are genuinely beautiful, and inside it's pretty much perfect. The rooms are light and airy with a comfortable drawing room and dining room (16 for dinner was no squash at all) and the kitchen diner is simply stunning; a great deal of care had clearly been taken over the contemporary design. We used all 9 bedrooms available which were a pleasing mix of Cotswold tradition and modernity. Our visit was in early spring so a little chilly for sitting outside or swimming, but the look had us all dreaming of summer parties. It was a 10/10 winning experience.see more

What you see in the advert is what you get, only even better.

This holiday cottage exceeded all our expectations. It is all the advert says it is only even better, Every age group from babies to Seniors are catered for. There are books, toys, board games and an impressive choice of DVDs for chilling out after a day out at one of the many Cotswold attractions all within easy driving range. We were a party of four, three adults a teenager and a small dog. There is a safety gate to block the stairs if you are staying with a mobile youngster. Pets are obviously welcome but if you have left your furry companion at home, don't be sad, there is Rolo a beautiful cat who lives next door and likes visiting. If you are lucky he might leave you a present at the back door. We were presented with a Pigmy Vole one morning. There is a paved area in the front garden equipped with garden chairs and a table which is a lovely sunny spot for a relaxing pre-dinner aperitif, playing a family board game or a having quiet read. We have never seen such a well-equipped cottage, It is like home from home. It is spotlessly clean and there was even a welcome tray waiting for us when we arrived. Parking is on the street which runs past the bottom of the front garden, we always found a space there but it is a little narrow as the parked cars leave only enough space for vehicles coming from opposite directions to pass on one side of the road. So you have to be vigilant when leaving your car or coming through the garden gate onto the road. Perhaps there is one last thing that I should mention about the cottage , it is opposite the village church which has a clock that strikes every quarter of an hour and rings on the hour, If you are a very light sleeper or allergic to the sound of church bells, your would be advised to pack some earplugs. Having said that, I am a very light sleeper and was not woken once by the chiming bells, without earplugs! We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little end of terrace cottage and if or when we return to this delightful part of England, we would like stay there again with pleasure. Jean Davies and family.see more
