There is also a farmhouse table in the kitchen, which seats four comfortably. The back door leads to a small patio area with table and chairs, there is a flight of stone steps with handrail that lead to the garden path which wends its way through the well stocked borders to a secluded and peaceful patio area at the end of the garden. There is a large table and chairs and parasol if required, where you can relax and unwind. Back inside a wooden staircase rises out of the sitting room with exposed beams all around. There is a first floor bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, television, hairdryer, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps, so plenty of storage space. There is a comfy window seat where you can watch the world go by down below. Off the landing there is a fully fitted bathroom with bath and shower over, wc and small basin. The staircase to the top floor is through an old wooden door on the first floor landing and has a large bedroom with vaulted ceiling, stunning chandelier and twin beds which can be zip locked together to make it into a super kingsize six foot bed. There is a large wardrobe, chest of drawers and comfy tub chair to relax in. The window gives views across to the church at the front and the garden to the rear. There is a fully fitted en suite shower room with powerful shower, sink and wc.

A starter pack of logs will be provided for winter guests.

Now entering our third year it has been wonderful to welcome guests back for their third visit.

There is parking on the road (no restrictions or payment required). Always easy to find a space close to the cottage.

Chipping Campden

For many visitors, Chipping Campden is the quintessential Cotswold town. It has a variety of building styles that have survived from all ages. Chipping Campden has become known for its unusual and attractive High Street, said to be "the most beautiful village street now left on the island".

The High Street is long and broad, and is flanked on either side by an almost unbroken single terrace, made up of many different architectural styles.

As the name suggests Chipping Campden was one of the most important of the medieval wool towns and famous throughout Europe.

There are several famous gardens within 15 minutes car journey of Chipping Campden including Hidcote Manor, Snowshill Manor, Bourton House, Sezincote, Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court and Batsford Arboretum. Also within a short drive is Shakespeare's Stratford Upon Avon as well as Warwick Castle.

“Very charming cottage in a beautiful village”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2016

Our stay at Perton cottage was a wonderful experience. It is situated in one of the most beautiful villages of the Cotswolds in a very cosy street. The cottage itself is very charming and well equipped. The infrastructure (stove, lights, tv,...) is modern. The only downside: there is no range hood in the kitchen. Also, very long people have to watch their head for there are some low spots. The owner replies prompt to questions and helps you immediately. All in all, staying at this cottages is a great way to explore numerous villages and makes you feel the cotwolds at their best.

So pleased that you had a lovely stay. Would be a pleasure to welcome you again.
