“Perfect location for everything” This is a well presented property, fully recommend, I had my elderly mother with me so having a bedroom and bathroom downstairs was perfect, all is provided. We took advantage if the location and visited Carlingford via the new car ferry at Greencastle, we visited Cranfield Beach just around the coast from Kilkeel, Murlough Bay which not only has a beautiful beach but is an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Mourne drive is breathless, + you have Castlewellan and Tollymore forest parks and in the evening lovely strolls along the promenade of Newcastle itself which provides lovely restaurants and cafes, you cant go wrong!, cant guarantee the weather though so raincoats a must!

“Lovely coastal escape” My family and I just arrived home from a 3 week stay in this lovely home. We were only booked to stay for a week, but decided to extend our stay and the owner was very kind in letting us stay longer at short notice. The house is situated in Greencastle with lovely views. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were great. The location is perfect to explore the mountains and surrounding beaches. Every day we went exploring by taking a hike, played in the snow up in the mountains, visited Tollymore forest, Kilbroney forest and every morning I went for a run on the beach. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will visit again!

“Aurora Cottage” We spent a lovely Father's Day weekend at Aurora Cottage. Beautiful setting, a short walk to the sea and village and so well equipped especially for families. Sheils couldn't of done more to ensure our comfortable stay and I can honestly say it was the best accomadation we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. Thankyou and we'll be back!

“Best Self Catering” Glendarragh was the best cottage we have ever rented. It was newly renovated situated in a beautiful rural spot, so quiet and relaxing. The owners Briedge and Sean were lovely people, at the end of a phone If needed. There were nice little touches like basic essentials to get you started, also it was the first cottage we have rented which had two bathrooms one of which was en suite. Lovely...we would definitely stay again.

“Lovely oasis perched in the mountains overlooking the sea” The views are really lovely from the sitting room window, overlooking the bay. Immediately behind us, the Mourne Mountains and Tollymore Forest Park which provided great places for the dogs and me to explore. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, one of the best we have ever been to. My husband is a retired chef/restaurateur and he was delighted! Tricia and Julian were at hand if needed and not intrusive and gave the occasional great suggestion for a walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

“A perfect cottage for a perfect holiday” A petite and cosy holiday home with an outstanding view to the sea and the mountains, ideal stay for a couple. Starting with a very warm welcome from Paula (the owner) which was the best and warmest welcome we ever received. Thank you for the very warm welcome, indeed. The cottage is an excellent base for exploring the many things around e.g. walks in the Mourne Mountains, a swim in the Celtic Sea or diving in the Irish history. Even Belfast and Dublin can be reach by a drive not longer 1,5 hour.

“Excellent” This is the third time we have stayed in Rose Cottage at this time of year. It is off-season so the town of Ballycastle is in quiet mode which suits us perfectly. Rose Cottage (it's really a mid-terrace house just a couple of hundred from the seafront, the marina/harbour, and the beach) is deceptive like a Tardis. It is much bigger on the inside than it looks from outside, and very comfortable indeed. The North Antrim Causway Coast is spectacularly beautiful whatever the weather or season. Though low on tourists at this time, Ballycastle is still a lovely place. There are various places to eat, all welcoming and friendly. It is also within 30 minutes driving of some of the locations used in Game Of Thrones, especially The Dark Hedges and Ballintoy Harbour. And, of course, The Giants Causeway and the Carrick-Rede-Rope Bridge are nearby.
