“True to the name....a hidden gem!” Had such a lovely stay here. The cottage is so quaint and pretty with a beautiful surrounding landscape. Seamus and Eileen were so lovely and helpful with fresh baked gingerbread upon arrival. Lots to do around the area; we visited the Marble Arch Caves, the local lakes and took a day trip to the beaches of Donegal.

“Great countryside retreat” Orchard cottage occupies a great position which allows you to drive to various locations including Bangor itself, as well as attractions like Mount Stewart, which is a must see. We travelled into Belfast a couple of times lots of great eateries to suit all pockets and plenty to keep you occupied. Overall we would recommend staying here as It is tranquil, but is in a great location to explore County Down and the Strangford loch area.

“Aptly named and tremendous setting” I booked this delightfully restored cottage with my Mum and sister. it was a wonderful stay. Hosts were friendly and above the call of duty helpful and supportive. It was an honour to have stayed in this cottage - it achieved the supreme balance of being 'oldy worldly' and meeitng all modern requirments. I am delighted to note it is open all year as we would love to return in the winter as well. A really peaceful setting, great to be out and about but also warm and comforrtable for sitting in with a book or chatting or on the net as cottage also has wifi.
