“Beautiful family log cabin in stunning peaceful location - sheer bliss!” We have just returned from a few blissful days staying at the Ben Lui Log Cabin in Loch Awe. The cabin is very comfortable and has just been renovated with a kitchen that has absolutely everything you need, the open plan design is very cosy with dining table and sitting room with TV/DVD if required. My kids loved the triple bunk room with a fantastic huge window that overlooks Loch Awe just 50 meters away with free fishing rights for cabin guests. The view is spectacular and well worth the 2 hour drive from Glasgow. The heating was very welcome on the rainy day we had to keep us cosy and there were free games supplied to keep us amused. The double bedroom had a great recess area under the wardrobe where our dog crate could fit into and our little pooch was very happy indeed as a home from home. There is also lovely patio doors that open onto a full length balcony supplied with table and bench for eating outdoors again with beautiful views and very peaceful watching the kids and dog play in the surrounding garden area. The log cabin site has a brilliant community centre that has a restuarant and bar and also offers a takeaway service to eat in your cabin. The menu is varied and at reasonable prices, highly recommend the Surf and Turf or the Mixed Grill, very tasty after exploring the Dalavich Oakwood Trail or Avich Falls not far from the cabin site where you can let your dog run free along with the children. The whole place was of a high standard and felt safe and welcoming. We will definately return very soon as it is a special place to escape from city life.

“Fantastic accomodation” This property was just like home from home. All equipment required for a relaxing stay. Onwers who live next door are very friendly and helpful Fresh eggs from hens roaming the garden. Property very isolated but the comfort and peacefulness more than made up for this. If you want a holiday away from it all with fine views but with all the mod cons you would not be dissapointed if you stayed here. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome
