“Perfect Family Holiday”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2012

Our cabin was well-equipped and comfortable. The scenery is magnificent. There is plenty to see and do - the only downside is a long drive on single-track lanes to get to the main roads. Lovely, friendly & helpful people. There is a little shop that sells the basics and a wonderful social club with restaurant that serves excellent food, another take away and onsite laundry facilities. We had a wonderful time, perfect for all ages. We will be going back!

“Cosy Log Cabin”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2012

This cosy log cabin was a mini home from home. It had a spacious living area, with a decent sized kitchen, and was quite rustic, but at the same time had the mod cons. The location its self was a bit more remote than we realised, but the location near Loch Awe has stunning views and lots of great woodland walks. The cabin was dog -friendly which was important with us as we like to take our dog on holiday. You have to take supplies of food and drink (and alcohol) as there is only a wee post office with not much fresh food - although you could eat there for lunch. The community centre was only open for one of the days we were there, but they provided a fantastic meal and friendly service.
