“Lovely comfortable house, in a great area to explore argyll.” This house is fantastic. We had a great holiday here at the end of September. The house is warm and cosy with great character. It makes a great base for exploring the area. We enjoyed a music festival in Tarbert, a day trip to Gigha and a trip to Skipness. Perfect for large mixed parties. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views.

Pennyseorach caravan No.7, beautiful location wih stunning views. Enjoyable coastal walk to Southend where we enjoyed lunch and amazing home baking at Muneroy tearooms. My two year old Grandaughter loved playing on the beach and around the rock pools and on occasions the local seals popped their heads up for a nosey. Nice peaceful and relaxing break.see more

Wonderful and peaceful

Our family had a wonderful time, and will return again. We have enjoyed our stay at this remote and private place, a sandy beach on the doorstep was the top for our convenience and relaxation. Plenty of space for kids to play. Kitchen cutlery and a pan should be replaced, but overall is a decent accommodation for this price. Glad that the caravan had no bad smell and was well maintained and clean.see more

Breathtaking view

This was a last minute booking for us and not something we had planned. We arrived 5 hours prior to check in however this was not a problem for the very kind lady who runs the park. 10 minutes later we were checked in and unloading the car. The view from the van is beautiful, your own almost private beach what more could you ask for. A real change for our kids who usually love an arcade and clubhouse. It was lovely seeing them explore the beaches and rock pools As previously stated in other reviews the vans are not brand new. However they are spotlessly clean and are the perfect base to explore from and we would not hesitate to rebooking to go again. All in all a perfect little get away. Lovely people and a lovely place and it doesn’t break the bank 10/10see more

Absolutely Superb

We have just returned from Pennyseorach Caravan (number 3) after a 10 day stay and cannot recommend it highly enough. Booking and payment processes were simple, any contact we had with Linda received a prompt, friendly and helpful response. Excellent Covid secure arrival and departure plans in place. The approach is via a long single track (with passing places) and, as it is a working farm, it’s a bit rough and bumpy but not a problem if you take it slow. You will be rewarded with the most amazing view as you approach the farmhouse and continue on down to the beach where the caravans are. The caravan was absolutely spotless, almost clinically clean which in current times is reassuring. There is everything you need and nothing you don’t, and there is even a great little hoover which is useful when you’ve got dogs running in and out with sandy paws! The oven is very efficient (and quick) to cook meals, there is a gas fire in the lounge for chilly evenings and a surprisingly good shower in the neat little bathroom. It is a very dog welcoming place with little grassy tracks cut into the longer grass on the immediate foreground, then of course there’s a mile of private sandy beach beyond. Shallow and safe but watch out for the lions mane jellyfish, of which we saw lots. These can still sting you even when apparently lifeless on the sand, so be careful and watch your children and pets around them. On a clear day you can see Northern Ireland, and the private island of Sanda is directly in front, a short distance away. It’s a constantly changing landscape and the large lounge window in the caravan gives almost panoramic views. Places we enjoyed visiting whilst there: the Isle of Arran (ferry), Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse, Tarbert, Skipness, Westport beach (a must if you have dogs), Campbeltown (lovely green park area with play equipment for children and lots of space for dogs to run), Inveraray (very pretty black and white town) and just driving on the country lanes in and around the area we saw golden eagles, herons, a mink and seals basking on the rocks near Machrihanish. A fantastic first experience of beautiful, clean, friendly and welcoming Scotland, we’ll be returning next year!see more

Idyllic

Absolutely fantastic holiday, right on the beach, tranquil and peaceful. Caravan basic and dated but comfy and cozy. Would not hesitate to go again. Met Lynda the owner and her dogs, lovely lady and very friendly dogs, they wanted to come for a play on the beach with our dogs, lovely and welcoming. Road to the caravan is a rough track, we haven't got a 4x4 but our car was fine. I had no phone signal but my husband did with his phone. But if your aim is to get away from hectic stressful life.... This place is perfect, relaxing and therapeutic.see more
