Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Best holiday in a LONG time!” This wee flat is perfect for a couple having a break. It is clean and easily accessible, has everything you need, with the most beautiful views across Loch Long. It is the ideal base for walking through the breathtaking Cowal countryside or visiting a little further afield: we covered Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne Oysters, Benmore Gardens, Ardentinny, Toward Lighthouse (along with the town of Dunoon) and a scramble up the hillside of Kilmun church on our last day - which incidentally, was the only wet day we had in the whole week We LOVED every minute.
Check-in was easy, though it was difficult to establish an acurate ETA. Steven was patient and welcoming (thank you for the shortbread!) and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving us to unpack. A lovely neighbour was there when we needed her too, and made our holiday that wee bit more memorable.
To be quite honest, I can't believe we were lucky enough to find this unbooked! And we'd love to return, if you'll have us!
“Very cosy home from home” The Snug is a very cosy cottage with fine views over the Firth of Clyde. It's in a very quiet location but within walking distance of one good restaurant and a local shop. Dunoon with all its amenities, shops and restaurants is a 10-minute drive away and also easily accessible by bus. The cottage is also very good value for money and there's a sofa bed in the upstairs living room in addition to the ground floor double bedroom. This proved very useful to us when my husband's aunt from nearby Largs stayed on for the night with us after we'd done a day trip to Oban. She found it very comfortable.
“A brilliant weekend” I've been to hunters quay many times but I still enjoy it as much every time I go the scenery is beautiful and amenities all being under one roof more or less plenty of activity for the grandchildren
