“Stylish retreat, fabulous views” Maggie has great taste and style. From sofa to throws, artwork to books, Smeg fridge to 6 hob, double oven - the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Lovely bedding and great hot shower! The sitting room comfortably seats 3 people. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need - we made Christmas lunch - and had enough serving dishes for eight different vegetables! The only addition that might be helpful would be a knife sharpener- the knives in the block seemed new - but didn't cut very easily! Minor detail - mentioned as a to do not a complaint! Would thoroughly recommend- beautiful bath stone house on picturesque terrace. Luggage can be carried in on the flat from the end of the terrace. Parking is at the top or bottom of a very steep hill - and so access to the cottage is on foot via steps and sloped pathways. Easily accessible to all who have full mobility - and a very short walk. You won't find a nicer place to stay!

“great location for exploring merseyside” The beach house is located in a lovely residential area overlooking the golf course at the rear and a stone throws away from the beach with its interesting statues! The train station is just down the road with regular trains to Liverpool and Southport so ideal to avoid parking. We just enjoyed a lazy weekend - the house is equipped with everything you need and is decorated in a lovely beach house theme. Would definitely go back there instead of staying in a city centre hotel. Thanks Lynne, hope to return one day.

“Immaculate sea view apartment” We had a great stay here. The apartment was really nice and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and we particularly liked being in the comfortable living room with its great views across Southsea Common and out to sea. It was also very conveniently located.

“An excellent host & apartment” Over the past 35 years we have stayed at various hotels and apartments in London. The service David and his family provided us was excellent in every possible way. The communication was perfect, upon arrival we were given a warm welcome, with an explanation of all (very modern) appliances, chocolates, tea & a bottle of wine. The apartment has everything you need, a perfect bathroom, a very well equipped kitchen, wonderful bed & sofa bed. It is located near Borough Market and London Bridge underground station is just around the corner. The owners really provide you with everything you need for a perfect stay. It is the cleanest and best maintained apartment we have ever stayed at. Thank you for this, David, Ida & Isaac. We will be back in April .

“Luxury and elegance in the centre of York” I booked this property as somewhere to meet up with friends for a short break in York. I was not disappointed. Firstly the location ... it is superb! The property is down a quiet street of Georgian houses seemingly in touching distance of the Minster. It is in close walking distance of all the main sites, shops and restaurants. Directions provided by the owners were concise and accurate and we could drop luggage off at the front door. They then directed us to a parking area a short distance away. Getting a dedicated parking space in a city which is predominately pedestrianised and traffic free was a real bonus. The house has been beautifully restored. It retains a wealth of period features which are complemented by antique furniture & interesting artwork. It is charming and elegant and has non of the formality or regimentation of a hotel. The dining kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art appliances. The bedrooms are large & comfortable (with views of the Minster) & the bathrooms are modern & tasteful. There is even a laundry room in the cellar. To the rear is a courtyard where we sat for a drink after a busy day of sightseeing. The owners have gone to great lengths to make our stay as luxurious and stress free as possible. The comfortable beds have fine linens and the bathrooms plenty of towels and toiletries. There is lots of information on 'what to do in York' provided. There is even a keypad entry system so you don't have to worry about carrying (or losing) keys. The house can sleep up to eight and offers excellent value compared to other city centre accommodation. If you want a charming elegant house in the centre of York which oozes history yet provides modern and efficient amenities for a luxury stress free stay I cannot recommend this property more highly. It is a real gem! Many thanks to all at Boxing Hare for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable We will certainly be staying at No. 2 Procentors Court the next time we visit York.
