“Wow, excellent lodge” This lodge is really home from home, excellent location very private and 1st class thorougout very well equipped, 2 fishing pegs, Hot tub went down a treat, went as a family of 6 adults 1 small child, plenty of room, Ray always on hand if you needed anything but this place is 1st class he wasn't needed, we already booked for next year as none of us wanted to leave .

“Perfect little weekend away” Springlake was such a fantastic little getaway, everything we was looking for and more! Lynne and Lester are so kind and welcoming and put so much effort in to making sure our stay was enjoyable. The facilities and accommodation were great and we’re perfect for our little family. “Great” Gilli so thoughtful, great little chalet, with everything you could possibly need on holiday, tea,coffee milk and sugar were there waiting when we arrived, iron, ironing board, games, books and dvds all there if needed.Will definitely book through gilli again if I want to stay in the area. “Wonderful walking break” The site (White Cross Holiday Park) is well situated, a short drive away from Windermere, Ambleside etc and close to plenty of walks. The lodge was excellent, well equipped and really clean. It felt like a luxury home away from home. Absolutely couldn't fault it at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would happily return again. 5 stars.

“Above and beyond” We have arrived home today from a 4 night stay, had to leave a review based on the experience. There were a couple of issues when we first arrived but the owner, John bent over backwards to sort them out, for me it's not about issues arising, they often can and do, it's how it's dealt with. The caravan was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bedding was very comfy and again perfectly clean. The table and chairs outside came in very handy too. Fantastic value for money too.

“Beautiful location” We had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage. Wonderful location a bus straight to St Ives from the touring park, lovely owners who took our shopping in on arrival when we were delayed on arrival. The camp site has activites which you are free to enjoy. Would I book again? In a heartbeat. The cottage is immaculate beds are comfortable the whole house is pristine clean and very roomy.

“Perfectly placed property, lovely owners” Had a wonderful 5 nights stay in February. Perfect location, easy stroll into town only 15 minutes away. Amazing views from patio. Kitchen well appointed, dogs very comfortable in their utility area (although we were surprised as a dog friendly cottage they were not allowed inside at all - didn’t bother us really as we were out all day!). Spotlessly clean. Owners were very welcoming and communication was brilliant before, during and after. Decor and furniture rather dated, but we didn’t book for that! Highly recommended and we would love to do a revisit sometime. Very convenient compared to lots of Brixham properties for accessibility into the town. Many thanks Katy for a wonderful stay.
