“Great lodge in a great location” We have stayed in this lovely lodge on several occasions. In our opinion it is in the best location on the site - next to the pond with lots of ducks and wildlife. The patio area is in full sun from about midday onwards making it perfect for those summer BBQs. The lodge itself is always spotlessly clean and offers all the facilities needed for a comfortable break, with lovely comfy beds and stylish furniture giving more than adequate storage . Hengar Manor site is within easy driving distance from favourite places like Rock , Padstow and Wadebridge and is not too far away from places like St Ives for a longer day out.

“Clean, well maintained, pet friendly lodge in beautiful location.” This is the 3rd lodge we’ve stayed in on this site & by far the best. The owners live in another lodge on the site & are always available to assist with any issues you may have. The large fenced offf decking is ideal for sitting out without having to worry about your dogs wandering off. The lodge is situated on a beautiful,peaceful site that is in easy reach of the south lakes & the Lancashire Canal is only 1 mile away with lovely walks along the tow path.

“Wow, excellent lodge” This lodge is really home from home, excellent location very private and 1st class thorougout very well equipped, 2 fishing pegs, Hot tub went down a treat, went as a family of 6 adults 1 small child, plenty of room, Ray always on hand if you needed anything but this place is 1st class he wasn't needed, we already booked for next year as none of us wanted to leave .

“Perfect little weekend away” Springlake was such a fantastic little getaway, everything we was looking for and more! Lynne and Lester are so kind and welcoming and put so much effort in to making sure our stay was enjoyable. The facilities and accommodation were great and we’re perfect for our little family. “Kenegie Manor” Just back from our short stay. Lovely clean accommodation and small but well run friendly site. Great location for visiting Cornwall. On arrival there was little touches such as some Cornish biscuits and milk left for us which pleased the kids. The accommodation was spotlessly cleaned and ready at time stated. We used the pool which had a booking service due to Covid and this worked brilliantly. We didn’t use the restaurant as you couldn’t book and it was busy, but ate just up the road in the Coldstreamer which I would also recommend. The site had tennis an a small putting green which was free to use for a small deposit and the kids have loved this. Great holiday home with a lovely friendly welcome from the staff there. Great contact and info from the owners as well. Would definitely recommend a stay!

“Great” Gilli so thoughtful, great little chalet, with everything you could possibly need on holiday, tea,coffee milk and sugar were there waiting when we arrived, iron, ironing board, games, books and dvds all there if needed.Will definitely book through gilli again if I want to stay in the area. “Wonderful walking break” The site (White Cross Holiday Park) is well situated, a short drive away from Windermere, Ambleside etc and close to plenty of walks. The lodge was excellent, well equipped and really clean. It felt like a luxury home away from home. Absolutely couldn't fault it at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would happily return again. 5 stars.

“Above and beyond” We have arrived home today from a 4 night stay, had to leave a review based on the experience. There were a couple of issues when we first arrived but the owner, John bent over backwards to sort them out, for me it's not about issues arising, they often can and do, it's how it's dealt with. The caravan was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bedding was very comfy and again perfectly clean. The table and chairs outside came in very handy too. Fantastic value for money too.

“Idealic place to stay!” We stayed for a week in this beautifully converted barn with access to swimming pool. The barn has everything you need - we enjoyed no wifi for the peace and quiet from "real life". The barn is tastefully decorated and furnished. The area is quiet with other holiday let cottages in the vicinity. The outdoor pool is a great bonus and was very popular with us open 9-9 every day. Children under 16 need an adult to supervise at the pool as no one supervises the area. Great location to Woolecombe - 5 mins in car. Illfracombe - 10 mins by car. The owner converted the barn themselves - a credit to them. They met us on arrival and left some provisions for us which kept us going until we shopped. Beautiful area, beautiful barn.
