“Wedding/ family break” This place has some of the best views of the sea I've ever seen... every night we sat outside staring out to sea with a glass of wine!! We booked before my wife fell pregnant so at 6 months pregnant the hill was a bit of a struggle but fun at the same time... we loved the cliff walk to the beach and the cafe done lovely food... easy drive to many beautiful towns and villages and great for walks... loads of facilities in the chalet like BBQ nice sun loungers( we got extremely tanned on the terrace) and BBQ'D most nights on the lower level... kids loved it too highly recommend we loved it and fell in love with Cornwall too

“Amazing!” We stayed here for 7 nights. The lodge was spotless and Julie and Jim were so friendly and helpful, both gave recommendations of places to visit with the children and how far everything was travelling wise. The lodge itself was well equipped, with leaflets, games and dvds. The site is very quite, with just a swimming pool, gym and restaurant, were you could sit outside on the decking looking over the lake having a nice cold drink. If your looking for a quite, no hassle, relaxing holiday then I highly recommend staying here. Will deff be returning again in the future .

“The best self catering accomodation we have ever stayed in.” St George cottage had every amenity you could want in a holiday home. Tessa had thought of every single thing to make our stay perfect. We liked that it had off street parking and that it was so conveniently positioned and only a short bus ride into Torquay. We will certainly return to St.George Cottage.

“Absolutely Fantastic!! Amazing van and amazing couple... you need to book!” We hired Olive the camper for our wedding day! She took the groom to the wedding, then took us for our first drive as a married couple (with some lovely champgne thrown in!) converted into a vintage sweetie shop for our guests to take wedding favour jars to fill and then Graham & Rachel even agreed to leave her overnight at hotel so we could drive off into the sunset for a weekend mini-moon! Graham & Rachael could not be more helpful, we felt like we had two friends share our day with us. The camper istelf is brilliant, all packed ready with all those little things you never think to pack - even a picnic basket! We are already planning our next trip and can't wait. A brilliant experience with a brilliant couple to boot.. highly highly recommend! Stacey & Craig x

“Excellent cottage and location!” The 4 of us (aged 23-38) stayed in the cottage over the new years eve and we loved it! The cottage is immaculately clean and the standard of interior and decoration is excellent. We were welcomed by Dorota who showed us around the place and she had left fresh fruit in the bowl, milk and some wine which was a lovely touch! The cottage it'self is very spacious and very homely. The location is perfect as it's close to many restaurants, shops and the town centre, and a drive away from smaller villages such as bourton-on-the water. We visited a local Indian and a local Thai restaurant which we loved and the food was delicious and authentic. Parking facilities were also ideal. Overall, perfect short stay cottage for a group of friends or family.

“Unbelievable memories” We are 3 friends that live split up a bit and for the summer holidays we spent 3 nights in this beautiful amazing place. Our kids (oldest 10 & youngest 3) loved it, especially the chicken that they could help feed! We made unbelievable memories! Thank you, Emma!!

“Girls weekend” Had an amazing weekend with 4 of my friends. Its setting is so beautiful and secluded. Really cosy cottage with all amenities. Jackie lives next door, which is quite handy, we had a bbq and we were missing a few things and she helped with that. She leaves you to it which is really nice. There are animals are around which we found really enjoyable. Cottage is suitable for families and also for groups. Lots of beautiful scenery and excellent cafes and restaurants a short drive away.

“Strawberry fields house Torquay” We were a group of nine adults, five being young adults. We were met by the house keeper who was very pleasant and helpful. The house is huge and we had more than enough space to accommodate our group. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The house has 6 bedrooms but the bunk room is more for children. The beds were one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in on holiday and lining was fresh and if good quality. Towels are provided too. The house is situated on a stew hill so this accommodation would not suit anyone with mobility issues, lots of steps when at the house too. But great location otherwise close to town, harbour, beach and restaurants. Tesco is very close too, to top up on refreshments. We enjoyed spending time outside, the outside area does need a little love to show off its beauty. Couple of things that would improve the stay are, none of the rooms had bedside tables, no where to put your tea or no bedside lamp. One of the double rooms had no furniture in it at all, my son had to hang his clothes on the chair and in our room which was an issue at times. We did have an email from the owner regarding music being played as a neighbour had complained. I explained this was not us but the house joining us, the owner was very pleasant in her email but if you plan on a big group staying here for a celebration then this may not be the house for you as no music after 11pm. We had a pleasant holiday and enjoyed our stay would stay again if staying in Torquay.

“Excellent accommodation” Wanted a place by the sea - Well this flat was perfect - a short walk to the sandy beaches of Bournemouth. The flat was very clean and offered everything you would need, very pleased indeed. If I had to find fault with anything it would be the lack of a table by the settee - a small nest of tables would sit nicely in the corner and we certainly would have used them instead of using a chair. Would definitely return.
