“Brilliant Log Cabin, couldn't fault it!” Myself and 7 girl friends stayed here for 2 nights in November. We were greeted by Gill, the owner, who took her time to show us around, explained where everything is and ran through how everything worked. The Cabin itself was immaculate, modern and very cosey! Rooms were spacious and had all the necessities you would need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!
“Moss Ecles” Very peaceful area. Lodge very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great walks around the area with fantastic views. Local pub provides good food. Will be looking to come back in near future.
“Great Family Time” Wonderful stay in a great place , visited Tattershall park for the 3rd time in a year. It was the first time we had stayed in Falcon Lodge and we will defiantly be booking again.
It had everything you need in order for the whole family to spend quality time together.
Great views of the lake and fighter planes that passed over (how can you complain about that !!!) Its so unique.
The owners were fantastic from the moment we booked everything was seamless.
“Amazing long weekend! Hot tub, log burner and projection screen!” 7 friends and I stayed for a long weekend, we were thoroughly impressed. The hot tub, log burner and projection screen were great. The rooms were all spacious and the open plan living area was great to relax in. You have to go here

“Very comfortable” Booked 3 lodges for a family members birthday, very comfortable, well equipped and warm lodges, nice touches from the hosts with little extras and attentiveness. Would love to return in the summer months to make better use of the outdoor space. Loads on your doorstep to keep all ages entertained.
“Relaxing break” Booked the lodge to celebrate a 30th birthday with family. Lodge set in beautiful setting, on fishing lake. Rooms very clean and comfortable, with necessary amenities including log burner, and outdoor seating area with private area to fish. Was welcomed by Kim on arrival, then left to a very relaxing 3 nights. Would definitely recommend.
“Blue Chip!” What a lovely find, home from home! Enjoyed a glass of wine or two overlooking the great views from the veranda. The lodge inside perfect, comfy 5ft bed, reclining sofa in the lounge and equipped to a very high standard! Located in a lovely village and lots to visit on the doorstep. Just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing long weekend out of the rat race!
“Wonderful, cosy wood cabin in idyllic situation - a perfect retreat” My husband and I and our children have stayed in Dragon Fly a number of weekends and have had a wonderful time. The cabins are just what you need for a weekend retreat - they are spacious enough for four people with a lovely open plan kitchen/ living area. Having two bathrooms also makes a big difference with large teenagers! We loved the walks from the cabin and the views of the lake with the swans was magical. The cabin was very well appointed with washing machine, dishwasher and a good sized shower. It all worked beautifully and we would love to stay there again! HIghly recommended.
“Amazing - can[--]t wait to go back” When we first arrived you could just tell it was quality. The place was amazing. Plenty of room and every detail thought about. It was a lot more spacious than I thought it would be. Bathroom is very large for a log cabin. The couch and chairs were very comfy and telly a good size for a relaxing night in. The bedding was really nice, good quality and looked brand new. Very cosy, in fact a bit too warm - which for a log cabin was strange. I had packed for winter but needed some shorts and t shirts. The kitchen is equip with everything you would need. I cooked one night and it was easy to work in. The other night we went for the best roast beef dinner I have ever had in The Queens Head a few mins drive away. Fantastic. I can't praise it enough. I knew I had chosen well from the correspondence back and forth from the owners, they seem like really nice, honest and trusting people. I am a fussy guest and am usually let down by something because my expectations are very high, but I cannot find fault.
“Absolutely fantastic!!!” I hired this beautiful lodge to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. There were 5 couples including us and we were all very impressed. The lodge is clean, spacious and well equipped with stunning views over the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub which has views of the lake. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in all areas. The owner Leslee is so helpful and friendly and she even put birthday banners up for us! We have all said we would love to stay here again - it was amazing!
“Just the perfect getaway...” From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had a smile on our faces! The lodge was just the perfect getaway... Great location over looking the River Avon, very peaceful and friendly people around! The lodge itself was immaculate, had everything you would require. Easy access to Stratford-Upon-Avon via the taxi boat.... Lots to see and do. Most definitely will be returning! Thank you for letting us stay and for all the information we needed! Highly recommended!
“Such a lovely, peaceful place” My husband booked a surprise birthday stay in Heron's Nest and it was wonderful! A romantic, cosy cabin sited right next to a stream that leads to the lake.
Sited perfectly for trips to Devizes, Caen Locks and Avebury if you fancy a day out or plenty of walks along the canals and through the fields, we brought our dog along for the trip and he had a wonderful time and was shattered after walks along the canals each afternoon.
Nicky is just lovely and has decorated the cabins beautifully and we had everything we could need. And she had kindly posted back my left behind items before I even realised they were missing!
We will definitely be visiting Willowbank Lodges again, whether it be just the two of us or with friends in the larger cabins. It was such a lovely break!
Thank you Nicky!
“fantastic break - clean, tidy, relaxed, everything you could wish for!!” I booked Bluetit lodge for my friends 30th birthday and there were 10 of us in total. I was worried at first we might get bored and be struggling for things to do - how wrong I was!! We didn't have enough time to fit everything in and we all wished we could have stayed longer. We had a brilliant time and had everything we needed it was home from home and by the end of the weekend we felt relaxed, revived and refreshed. All of us said we would definitely come back and me and my husband have booked another stay this year on the country park!!
“A really nice place to stay.” Good location with lots of walks in the vicinity. The Lodge was very clean and everything we needed for our stay was available. Jules and John (the owners) were extremely friendly and accommodating. Use of the hot tub was also a benefit.
We will definitely return to The Lodge
“Cozy hideaway” What a lovely little place, tucked away in an upper field above Highley Station. Surrounded by fields and beautiful views, so quiet and comfortable. The owner really went out of his way to make us comfortable, had the place nicely warmed up for us and welcoming, even offered an extra night or two at no cost due to the stormy weather. The cabin was well equipped with everything we could need and a welcome place to return to. Remember to bring towels though!
