“A real home from home” Our stay at Garden Cottage was very enjoyable. It has everything you need and is extremely cosy and welcoming especially when you return from a long day exploring the lovely Suffolk coast line. “Perfect” Great house, ideal location. Perfectly suited our family of four plus dog. Only stayed for short break, 2 nights and booked last minute. Had everything we needed and more. Owner very responsive re booking. The sun even shone for us after a miserable week. We would book again when hopefully we can stay longer.

“Ideal location” Fantastic, everything spotlessly clean and plenty of room, only 3 of us but with 2 double and two single rooms could easily have been even more value for money if you have a larger family or sharing with friends. Located just about midway between bowness and windimere towns there is ample choice of shops bars restaurants. Property is set over 3 floors with living room and kitchen on the second so probably not best suited if you struggle with stairs. We'll appointed modern kitchen and decent WiFi! Only thing I can think the Property could benefit from would be some outdoor furniture in the garden but otherwise everything we needed.

“lovely place to stay” stone cottage is nicely placed opposite the church it has a local pub shop and garage with a bus stop right outside the front gate.the cottage was spotless on arrival with everything you need inside.it is very modern looking inside and the view across the back from the patio doors is nice too.craig is very easy to get along with and leaves you to get on with it.hemsby caister and Yarmouth are only 5 to 10 minutes away.dont hesitate to book this cottage as you can have peace and quiet or jump in the car and off you go.

“Warm welcome, peaceful location and beautiful accommodation” Had a great time exploring the dog friendly beaches. Pam gave us the warmest welcome to this lovely cottage and the facilities were fantastic. We even had a delicious cream tea waiting for us.We would love to go for a longer stay next time.Highly recommended!

“Perfect family holiday by the beach” We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked again for next summer. Dolphin Cottage is comfortable and convenient: close to the beach, the shops, pubs and restaurants. Once you're there, you don't need the car anymore. Shaldon is a charming seaside village and the local food is delicious. For children, besides the beaches, there is a zoo and - just a ferry crossing away - a dinosaur-themed crazy golf.

“Great little cottage” We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It was in an ideal location, being only a short drive from Kendal and surrounding villages. There was also a paddock on site and woods nearby where we could take our dog before or after trips out. We would definitely stay here again if we have another trip to the Lakes.
