“Amazing stay” We stayed at St. John's for three nights over a weekend for my husbands bday weekend. Had a fantastic time , the church itself is breath taking, lots of room for two families with young babies . Phil and his wife were very accommodating with requests for high chairs and travel cots. Every thing is there for you when you arrive unlike other holiday homes.
Would also recommend Janet a local lady who caters , details can be found on the initial info sent.
Overall amazing stay would love to go back .
“Five Star venue in a warm and friendly village” My wife and I recently visited Broughton Giffard to attend a christening. When choosing a place to stay we wanted quality and comfort and that's exactly what we experienced. Alex and Jodana have turned this wonderful and quaint building into a superb venue to stay. Clearly considerable time has been afforded to create just the right mood...from the wonderful wood burning stove, luxurious Chesterfield to lounge and read a number of the books they have provided or to curl up and enjoy the generous king size bed found on the mezzanine floor. Superb kitchen facilities mean you may never need to leave however a visit to the multiple award winning Fox at Broghton Giffard is a must! The food, drink and service is first class. Just a few miles from Bath the Reading Rooms is well worth a visit!
“Fantastic cottage - homely, clean and well equipped.” Great holiday let. The property has great character and is very well furnished. It is very clean and extremely well equipped. Wonderful location with Corfe Castle, Swanage, Monkey World, Knoll Beach, etc, all 20 minutes away or less. Highly recommended.
“EXCELLENT HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION” Absolutely excellent. Warm welcome with food goodies, including a lovely cream tea. The apartment was beautifully furnished and immaculate, totally equipped with every kind of kitchen appliance and utensils, TV/DVD in the lounge and the two bedrooms. Also there were DVDs and books, every kind of tourist information whether you travel by foot, car, bike, or public transport. I cannot think of anything that was missing. It was a wonderful place in a wonderful location and I would both recommend it and use it again. Well done Gary and Linda for putting so much care and attention to detail into your property. Before our stay my friend was concerned about having to climb stairs and about bathroom facilities. This property perfectly served her limited mobility requirements.
“Picturesque and quiet cottage, perfect for families” We rented this cottage with a group of friends over a long holiday weekend. The place is quiet and perfectly picturesque, and has everything needed for an enjoyable weekend. The landlord & lady are very friendly too.
During the weekend we visited Ely cathedral and Oxborough hall, two fabulous sights very near by. The only downside for us was the bad connection to public transport. Taxi from Downham Market is feasible, but we opted to rent a car for the weekend instead.
“A wonderful accommodation; fantastic house, huge gorgeous garden, brilliant amenities, accommodating owners” We had a lovely family 2 week stay. We all had a fantastic time including the young children. The house is five star with all amenities you can think of. The owners have thought of everything down to the reading glasses!! The real grab here is the beautifully maintained huge garden with a stream;so peaceful. They also have a games room which the kids loved. The owners were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend!
“Fab festive break” What a find! Chapel was fabulous, great location, cozy warm, tastefully renovated, well equipped and to top it a all a lovely Christmas tree greeted usOnly advice I'd give is to take Amy's offer of a parking space in a near by yard. No negatives we'll look forward to our next visit.
