Thank you for the review and rating and we are pleased you enjoyed the facilities at North Hill. I am sorry you felt that you should not be charged for using the Sauna (£1 for 20 mins coin operated) and the hot tub. The hot tub can be used without cost. We feel these small additional costs are justified where there is a heavy use of electricity or heavy wear and tear on a pool table for example.
We believe our cottages are keenly priced and the cost for Ivy Cottage in this case was £435 for the first week in September. The price was pushed up over £500 because the guests in this case chose to book through a third party who charge a commission, and they bought two dogs which are charged at £25 each. This charge for dogs is fairly standard and many cottages would not take 2 dogs.
