“Weekend family break” The location is peacefull and not overlooked with lovely view out onto the Holy Loch. It's handy for Dunoon and local forest walks in the Argyll region. The lodge itself is good very spacious for the 6 adults in our group and our dog. It is well laid out and clean. With a modern well equiped kitchen and bathroom, beds were comfortable although the bunk beds are a little short if you are tall. Plenty of seating for all, although sofa is a little dated but comfortable, a sofa bed would have been ideal for our taller guests. TV/DVD and a music player help pass the late evenings away. The lodge heats up quick and retains its heat nicely throughout the night. The balconny offers lovely views but loses the sun in the afternoon, Decking to the rear would be benificial but to be honest it is surrounded with a large grass area and you could just through a blanket on that. Booking and instructions were all easy and as written with no issues, and I would happily recommend this Lodge.
