“Stylish retreat, fabulous views” Maggie has great taste and style. From sofa to throws, artwork to books, Smeg fridge to 6 hob, double oven - the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Lovely bedding and great hot shower! The sitting room comfortably seats 3 people. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need - we made Christmas lunch - and had enough serving dishes for eight different vegetables! The only addition that might be helpful would be a knife sharpener- the knives in the block seemed new - but didn't cut very easily! Minor detail - mentioned as a to do not a complaint! Would thoroughly recommend- beautiful bath stone house on picturesque terrace. Luggage can be carried in on the flat from the end of the terrace. Parking is at the top or bottom of a very steep hill - and so access to the cottage is on foot via steps and sloped pathways. Easily accessible to all who have full mobility - and a very short walk. You won't find a nicer place to stay!

“absolutely fantastic cottage” Fantastic cottage, very clean,has everything you could need ,great gardens,lovely owner very friendly,free scones and milk and tea bags on arrival which was a very nice touch,as was the free charcoal in the barbecue, no noise,all you can hear is the birds in the trees,lovely sitting in the garden under the apple trees,and it's only about 4 miles from perranporth beach and town,so from middle of nowhere to the middle of the beach and town in 5 minutes,best of both worlds,will definitely be going back

“A delightful stay.” What an amazing place, everything you could wish for. Beautiful garden, wonderful breakfast and perfect for our two dogs. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Local pub had great food and dog friendly. Victoria, the owner, was lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend Orchard Studio. It is a very special place. One review I read before I booked said it was uber cute and that is exactly what it was. Have to say it was just perfect. Many thanks.

“Amazing” Ohh wow where do i start!!! From arriving to this perfect location to not wanting to go home everything is just perfect. “Durham House” Group of 6 adults and 6 older teenagers stayed in Durham House over the Easter weekend. Couldn't fault it, we had a fantastic time. There was ample space for everyone and the property was very clean. Six large, nicely decorated spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage space and TVs in each. Ensuites and bathroom modern and clean. Fully equipped kitchen with more than enough cupboard space, crockery and utensils for a large group. The 2 dishwashers came in very handy! Dining room was big and the table was huge so we could all eat together. The living room was very comfy and spacious and we liked that the bifold doors opened up to the garden area where we could sit outside. Games room was a definite hit with the kids and it was great that we had our own private car park. The bar area was great we had lots of fun in there. The owner Neil was really nice and friendly, he made sure everything was ok for us in the house, and recommended things to do in the area. He even gave us some discount vouchers for Beamish Museum! The location was excellent only 30 mins to Durham and the village itself was very pretty and had all the local shops you needed. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

“Beautiful apartment” We stayed for a long weekend at the end of April and although the weather was awful the apartment was great. Everything we needed was there, including cot, high chair and stair gate for our little girl. Couldn't fault it. Great communication with owner before hand and delicious breakfast pack. We'll be back for sure.
