“Stunning sunsets” The name says it all, the views are incredible! The sun raises on the back right hand side of the caravan and sets at the front on the left side of the decking. On a sunny day you will be hard pressed to find a better sunset. On Saturdays there is a steam train the runs through Dawlish Warren that can also be seen from the deck. There are some good places to eat a short distance and plenty of pubs. If you want to avoid a crowd don't go down to the beach area on Saturday evening but any other time seems to be OK, it's not deserted but not too busy. Explore the area there is plenty do do but I would suggest you should have a car. Being welcomed by Maddy on arrival was really nice, she's very friendly and will make herself available if you need her (we didn't). I doubt you will find a more warm welcome anywhere. The site is small, I think about 35 vans all privately owned so don't expect a clubhouse or shop but you won't miss them every thing you need is close to hand in the village anyway. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you, don't let the larg caravan park you can see lower down the hill put you off. We were there as the summer holidays started and though you can hear people it's not invasive. Book a stay, you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Oh yeah, watch out for the seagulls, they're pretty bold..
