“Relaxing Holiday” We arrived at The Nook to a lovely warm welcome from the owner Lisa, who showed is around our accommodation, everywhere was spotless with lots of little extras, we also had on arrival a beautiful bowl of fruit, bread, butter and milk plus 6 eggs all very appreciated. The Nook is perfectly positioned for travelling around the Island, Roxie our Springer Spainel thoroughly enjoyed all the walks nearby as well as the beaches. The owners have really thought of everything you might need, including a very comfortable bed, we would definitely recommend The Nook to stay in.

“Perfect snuggly weekend away” Perfect for a weekend trip away with the dogs / lodge was cosy and warm and had everything we needed right there. A nice big enclosed garden to let the dogs run around in and nice long walks nearby. Hosts were nice and friendly and there if we needed anything but equally left us to it. We didn't have to use the car al weekend - would highly recommend and would love to return.

“Holiday Lodge in the Lovely Forest of Dean” We stayed at the Woodlands View Lodge, Easter 2015, This is a brand new holiday lodge with everything needed to make this feel home from home. All fittings and furniture are also new and are of excellent quality. Location is isolated as you would expect in the forest area which is why we booked it and is within easy walking distance of two award winning pubs, should you wish to use them. For mountain bike enthusiasts this is ideal as Cannop Cycle Centre is only 2 miles away and has numerous trails for all levels and abilities. We enjoyed our weekend break, cut off from work the moment we arrived and what better recommendation than we have booked again for a birthday break next month. Many Thanks to Sue and Rich. “Great location, great lodge.” Had a great weekend, managed to get to all the lovely surrounding beaches. The lodge is the perfect base for visiting the area, comfiest bed ever. Just wish I had been there for longer.

“Brilliant lodge” Just returned from a fantastic stay at Chy Mena in St.Agnes.St Agnes itself is a lovely little Cornish villiage with a few pubs and restaurants to keep you busy with one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. Chy Mena itself was fantastic modern with everything you need including a great Jacuzzi and spacious sun deck. It's on a bit of a hill so be prepared for slight walk up with your bags from the parking space but honestly don't let that put you off as once at the top you will love your secluded woodland suntrap! I Would definitely stay again thankyou.

“Clean, well maintained, pet friendly lodge in beautiful location.” This is the 3rd lodge we’ve stayed in on this site & by far the best. The owners live in another lodge on the site & are always available to assist with any issues you may have. The large fenced offf decking is ideal for sitting out without having to worry about your dogs wandering off. The lodge is situated on a beautiful,peaceful site that is in easy reach of the south lakes & the Lancashire Canal is only 1 mile away with lovely walks along the tow path.

“Total escape!” Extremely comfortable and very well kept lodge - in a completely tranquil setting away from the pace of everyday life. Nestled in amongst the forest - extremely narrow single track roads to reach it - that took some getting used to especially in a bigger car! Plenty of walks amongst the national park and places to visit with young children within decent driving distance. Beautiful scenery and beaches nearby. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are physically able - only shame was the swimming pool was out of action for the season -which would have been perfect as we had a really hot few days! Owner very communicative and accommodating.

“Perfect, well appointed, modern yet cosy lodge.” Just returned from a 3 night stay for my 50th Birthday. The lodge was easy to find from the emailed instructions, The park lies almost exactly between Alnwick and Morpeth. The park itself is small enough to feel local but big enough to have a nice walk round. The park has a small clubhouse which serves food and drinks - we had breakfast there before setting off home and it was good quality and fair price. The lodge itself is very nice, high quality furniture and fittings, big screen TV with full (movies and sports ) sky package. Freeview flatscreens in the bedrooms too. We also made use of the built in bluetooth speaker system which I connected my Ipad to for spotify. As others have mentioned the hottub is great - already set up at the correct temp before we arrived. Mel met us to check everything was in order and said to contact her directly if we needed anything. We loved the area taking our dog out during the day to explore with a bit of shopping in Morpeth for my wife thrown in too ! If you dont want to use the clubhouse then everything in the evenings will mean driving - I didnt want to do that so we ate lunch out and cooked at night and spent time in the hottub then with a movie or the football later on. For us it was perfect - we really enjoyed the break, we felt the price was more than fair considering the high class lodge and all the extras thrown in - the welcome pack was indeed very welcome. we will be back at either this lodge or one of the other 2 on the same park owned by the same family.

“Wow, excellent lodge” This lodge is really home from home, excellent location very private and 1st class thorougout very well equipped, 2 fishing pegs, Hot tub went down a treat, went as a family of 6 adults 1 small child, plenty of room, Ray always on hand if you needed anything but this place is 1st class he wasn't needed, we already booked for next year as none of us wanted to leave .

“Wonderful walking break” The site (White Cross Holiday Park) is well situated, a short drive away from Windermere, Ambleside etc and close to plenty of walks. The lodge was excellent, well equipped and really clean. It felt like a luxury home away from home. Absolutely couldn't fault it at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our break here and would happily return again. 5 stars.

“Everything you could wish for......” We were met at the gate by Irene, the owner, and taken to Riverview Lodge. We had gone as a 30th Wedding Anniversary gift from Mum in Law, and we took her along with us. We had an absolutely perfect break. The Lodge is home from home with direct access to and lovely views along the river. Stratford is a 5 min drive away. Plenty of places to eat out although we just made the best of the heatwave and ate most meals out on the decking. Will definately make a return visit at some point I am sure.

“Stunning location, stunning accomodation” I booked a short stay for my family and I at Rivers Meet. From start to finish it was a great experience. Being met by the owners and provided with a tour of the lodge and site facilities was both welcoming, friendly and useful. The lodge has everything a family could need from the TV's in all living and sleeping areas to the luxury Jacuzzi bath. Fantastically equipped, clean, modern and very well maintained. The site was beautiful and being so close to the river provides a wonderful tranquil back drop. Open areas for the kids to playand wildlife all around. 3 minute drive into the centre of Stratford and ideally located for all attractions in the area. Would definitely return (the kids are already asking to go again) and have already recommended to friends and family.

“Fantastic place for a peaceful holiday” We have just had a fantastic holiday at this superb lodge. W O W factor on entry with everything first class. Well equiped kitchen with everything provided and very clean, the bedrooms were also very clean and comfortable. The sauna is a bonus. A great place to explore Gt. Yarmouth, the Norfolk Broads and other beaches. We would definitely reccomend this accommodation.

“Hillside Lodge” A lovely stay in Hillside Lodge. Four adults and four children. The lodge was modern and spacious, heated to perfection, spotless throughout and very comfortable. We loved the hot tub too! We only stayed two nights so didn't get much opportunity to explore the area, we visited Cheddar Gorge and that was a great day out, we intend to return for a longer stay.

“Some gripes” Nice lodge, nice little complex in gorgeous countryside. Unfortunately the weather was unbearably hot and the lodge even hotter so sleeping was out of the question. Need to invest in air conditioning units as the lodges were so hot we all felt unwell. The fridge was not working properly, and as self catering this was essential. A cool box was provided though. The hot tub was lovely but again would have been better had the lights been working which although seems minor it did upset the kids. Attention to detail is important.
