“Fantastic bungalow” Stayed for a long weekend over the Easter break. Fantastic, clean and well equipped bungalow, with WiFi which was a huge bonus with our children (aged 11 and 16) as the weather wasn’t great. Added extra of having Now TV in 2 of the rooms. The kids loved the large settee that fitted us all on to watch a movie and they even slept in there one night rather than in the twin room. Plenty of storage and coat hangers. Even though we didn’t take our dogs with us, would have been the perfect holiday bungalow for dogs. Close to the sea front and shops, great chinese takeaway nearby that delivered. Will definitely book again to come back and stay.

“Well looked after property in brilliant location” The property is on a quiet road but minutes away from all the attractions of Bowness on Windermere. The view down to the lake from the front room is stunning. The property is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We had a brilliant week staying here and would rebook the next time we come to this area.

“Lovely relaxing lodge with beautiful views” A lovely, spotlessly clean lodge with excellent views and set in gorgeous countryside. A great place to relax in after a day exploring the local area and towns like Dawlish, Exmouth, Exeter and many other pretty seaside towns nearby. The facilities in the lodge were excellent.

“Ideal location for a short stay.” Very impressed. The agency and owner were very helpful before the stay. When we got there everything was clean and as advertised. Plenty of crockery and utensils, and sufficient bedding was provided. Only a short walk to the sea, and not far from local shops. Would definitely stay again.

“Perfect in every way.” Thank you so much for what has been the most relaxed holiday in a long time. A huge part of that being down to the house itself being in the ideal spot, only 10 mins walk from both the shops and beach but also nicely tucked away within a quiet residential road. We cannot emphasise how much we appreciated all of the lovely little homely touches upon arrival such as fresh flowers in each room, fresh milk in the fridge, cream tea and cream in the fridge and all of the other little bits like cleaning products in the cupboards, toilet paper upon arrival and hand soap. With a baby it's always difficult to organise all of the little things so to have someone be so kind as to arrange it for us made it so much easier. We cannot fault the house in anyway. It is beautifully decorated, has good quality appliances and facilities for babies which was a must for us and a beautiful garden for her to run around in safely. We will definitely be returning next year as this holiday has been the best family break yet. Thanks again.

“Great bungalow in a superb location with everything that you need” As with all the reviews written before ours, absolutely no faults with the bungalow. The holiday was superb from start to finish, walking into the bungalow for the first time was an absolute pleasure. From what I could see it was one of the stand out units on the site and certainly appeared to be the most up to date looking outside in, with well maintained gardens. We wish we would have booked two weeks but we would love to visit again in the future, a lovely spot and a credit to the owners.

“Fantastic little bungalow in a Wonderful part of the Isle” A fantastic little bungalow thoroughly enjoyed by our little family of 4; kids loved the bunk beds!! A nice little selection of DVDs ideal for evenings once the little ones were in bed. Paul, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful prior to arrival, with milk provided in the fridge on arrival as a lovely little bonus. The addition of free to use bus passes were also a great little extra; used for a trip up to Alum Bay. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

“Wonderful welcome to a wonderful cottage.” Welcomed with a bottle of wine and a very nice cake. The cottage was fully equipped, with everything you may need in a holiday kitchen. Pet friendly? - It is pets adored!! there was home make dog biscuits - our dogs loved them, also if you forget the dogs belongings i.e.blankets/water bowls etc- you will find some here to use. Even leads and tags they can wear if they get out and lost. Literally, Sam has thought of everything! We wanted for nothing in the self catering cottage. Location is perfect with views all round. Just @ 20 mins from the sea. Perfect sandy beaches along the coast, where the dogs had a brilliant time. There are plenty of dogs poo bins about so you don't have carry full poo bags very far. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break away in the Bothy. Thank you Sam.
