“Outstanding” Booked through Christmas as a “get away” from it all and was not disappointed. The lodge was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. The lodge had everything you could possibly want and meant the raft of items we bought “just in case” never got unpacked. A very, very short drive to Windermere with its bars and food outlets made for pleasant evenings out. Great stay in a fabulous location. 5/5

“Excellent accommodation” Great cottage for a stay in Windermere, close to the town centre for all the amenities. The cottage itself is a good size with 2 large bedrooms and a good size 3rd bedroom with good outside space at the front and back. Only downsize is a stand up shower but wasn't a major issue. Would definitely stay their again on my next visit

“Perfect long weekend” Lovely long weekend at Jay's Nest - excellent location and easy to get to. Particularly fantastic facilities inside, all the kitchenware needed for good home cooking as well as wonderful towels and sheets. The huge bath tub was an especially welcome relief after long windy walking days.
