The Stables is back for Holidays after a few years' break, and a refurb!

The Stables is a spacious ground floor apartment in a converted barn on farmland on the edge of a small village. Peaceful countryside location but convenient for the City of Wells. It has a private terrace with views of the Somerset Levels & surrounding fields. It comprises a King Sized double bedroom, shower room, kitchen (cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle & microwave oven) dining area and lounge with Smart TV.  Includes complimentary bathroom toiletries, welcome beverages and bath robes. Completely self contained and private. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside... take in the views whilst Sipping wine on your private patio & watch the sun go down over the Somerset Levels.

Perfectly located to enjoy the area's must see locations, from the historic spa city of Bath, with its stunning architecture and wealth of history, the metropolitan city of Bristol with its wealth of shops and restaurants, the picturesque scenery of Cheddar caves and gorge, and Wells, the smallest city in England, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, and Longleat are all within easy reach and a must when visiting this stunning area.

Scenic country walks are literally from the doorstep using little known or used footpaths, with some breath taking views.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Carol (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carol (the owner) a message.

If Carol (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
