“Superb Holiday Home”
This is a very comfortable and well presented lakeside holiday home in a beautiful relaxing and secure setting. The sunrises over the lake are magnificent. Windrush lakes has sporting facilties and there is Hotel / Spa / Restaurants and an Outdoor Shop just across the road. There are many local villages with pubs etc. and some great walks. We spent the New Year here with our family and came back relaxed and refreshed.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Windrush and look forward to seeing you again. Many thanks for your kind review.
“Lovely property, perfect for families.”
Property more spacious than the pictures suggest. Everything you need is there including a cupboard full of toys and games for children and the all important dish washer!. Location great, safe and peaceful, lovely play area, football pitch, tennis courts and games room - children can have lots of freedom here. The lakes make it very picturesque and good for walking the dog. Lots of activities nearby - as ever in the UK, all a bit weather dependent! It could do with a small grocery shop on site - there is a big Tesco a few miles up the road but I like to avoid Tesco on holiday!
“Lovely very well equipped cottage in a stunning location.”
We have just spent a long weekend with our family in this lovely cottage. Very relaxing and beautiful location with lovely walks which our two dogs really enjoyed.
“Fabulous peaceful break”
Excellent location with wonderful views. Site is peaceful but still has lots to offer. Great base for watersports in local area and for visits to Cirencester. House is well equipped, clean and nicely presented.
“new england like house & position by lake”
stayed with family primarily due to the location close to the 4 pillars hotel for a wedding reception.Property well maintained, clean, warm, kitchen well stocked with utensils, lounge seating comfy, beds excellent. Lovely position by lakeside, morning sun on rear patio very nice. recommendable!
“Peaceful & cosy”
Wonderful location overlooking the lake giving different sceneries each morning from geese waddling out from the mist to a stunning sun rise over frost covered ground. The lodge is well equipped, lovely and warm & well laid out which comfortably housed six adults. Would definitely return to explore more of the local surroundings. Point to note is we struggled when looking for a supermarket but there is a large Tescos one junction up (travelling north) off A419.
