Barn Owl Barn is simply perfect! Close to the dramatic shores of the North Cornish coast you will find this tranquil little retreat. Full of charm, nestled in peaceful farmland, Barn Owl Barn is the most perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday whist at the same time being ideally located for exploring this wildly beautiful area.This newly converted detached barn sleeps 2 (4 when using sofa bed) and promises a warm welcome. Beautifully styled with a mix of the contemporary and traditional fabrics and furnishings, guests are sure to feel right at home. Enjoy cooking up some of the delicious local fare in the newly fitted kitchen or curl up on the sofa with one of the many books provided- and relax! Guests will enjoy peace and quiet and the open countryside views from the sunny patio. If you are a keen bird watcher then this is the place to stay. As part of our planning consent we have mounted a barn owl nesting box on one side of the barn as it did used to be home to barn owls before the barn was converted. We are now pleased to report that over the last 2 seasons the owls have successfully reared their chicks and have wowed our guests. * Barn Owl Barn can accommodate 4 though guests should be aware that the bathroom is a-joining the double bedroom, therefore guests sleeping on the sofa bed would need to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Bedding is not provided for the sofa bed.

Interaction with guest

Ian or Sandy will normally call in to say hi at the start of visitors stay. We then like to let visitor make themselves feel at home and enjoy their stay in peace. We are only a short distance away should any problems arises. So guest should not hesitate in giving us a phone call or text as no problem is too big or too small for us to sort out. The most important thing is that our guests are happy, comfortable and feel like Barn Owl Barn is their own home for the duration of their stay

Children should be supervised as there is a road outside the property and the drive way has does not have a gate. However there are a-joining fields that children can fun freely in if there are no cattle or crops being grown.
Pet owners should also be aware of the above.

Very Good

“A weekend walking break”

We stayed at Barn Owl Cottage on a weekend of mixed weather to go walking on the South West coast path. The cottage is very warm, comfortable and sparkling clean. Easy to find and although a true retreat and not in a village it was easily to access everywhere we wanted to go during the day times. The local pub was very welcoming and served us good pub food every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Sandy was easy to contact and responded quickly when we had a query.

“Perfect place for rest”

Being a lone traveler I was delighted with the barn owl barn , I felt comfortable and safe . It was a home from home with everything I needed for my stay . Beautiful location and very peaceful . I enjoyed the nature surrounding the barn and will look forward to another stay.

We have stayed here before and this trip was just as good as the first. Great location for the Padstow / Rock area. The cottage itself is lovely and very well equipped . We had a great holiday and would recommend it very highly. David and Jackie

“Cosy, quiet, super location”

Barn owl barn is the best place we have stayed. It was clean, cosy and had everything we could want for our stay. The location was brilliant for exploring this Cornish coast, convenient yet still peaceful. We will be returning next year.

A charming, delightful cottage to stay in while you enjoy beautiful Cornwall. Set in a beautiful country side location not far from Polzeath and Port Isaac. Tastefully decorated, well equipped kitchen and a very cosy place to relax in. We will certainly book this cottage on our next visit to Cornwall.

How do damage deposits work?
