Description
Pebble Cottage is a lovely terraced barn conversion set within a small number of similar style properties, with wonderful views across the valley.
You can expect to find a welcoming yet contemporary feel to Pebble Cottage. The Treglyn Farm area is a quiet, child friendly environment well away from any main roads but has easy access to popular routes around Cornwall and is close to the beaches at Rock, Daymer and Polzeath. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your holiday.
Pebble Cottage is equipped with high speed fibre broadband and sleeps 4 people comfortably.
Downstairs has a well furnished kitchen/lounge/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you require for a comfortable and stress free holiday. The dining area will comfortably seat four people and from Easter 2021 newly fitted patio doors will open to the patio area and private back garden (not enclosed) which is an ideal sun trap in the evenings to sit and watch the sun go down. The lounge area has three, two-seater sofas, double sliding patio doors to the front overlook the green and to the open countryside beyond. Upstairs to the front is a double bedroom which has been refurbished for 2021 complete with a new kingsize bed and gets the sun in the morning. To the rear is a twin bedroom, again refurbished for 2021 with two new single beds, and a lovely bathroom with a roll top bath and a separate shower.
Outside, to the front of the property is a large communal garden area which is great to let the kids run around and play, venture further afield through the woodland and you may find yourself wandering to the pub at Chaple Amble!
At the rear of Pebble Cottage is a private garden and rural views with small sun trap patio area. Parking for two cars is also to the rear of the property.
Ideal location and accommodation all year round. Email to enquire about short breaks in low season.
Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome (maximum of 2) . Dogs are required to be kept on leads for the benefit of other guests in the area who may not be so fond of our four legged friends. There is plenty of space for walking dogs and the great all year dog friendly beaches at Daymer Bay & Rock offer beautiful spaces for your dog to run and have fun.
Linen is included, but towels are not included.
Due to Coronavirus, at the end of your stay you will be requested to strip all bedding and place all linen in a bag that will be provided, this is to ensure the health and safety of our housekeepers.

“Lovely as ever, beautiful views and cosy property”
We recently stayed here for the second time and it was just as perfect as the first time. It is only about a 5 minute car journey to the gorgeous beaches of rock, daymer bay & polzeath, we walked along all 3 every day with our dog & he had the best time and didn’t want to come home! The property itself is lovely and very cosy, and I would definitely recommend this property as an excellent holiday cottage and brilliant base for anyone wanting to explore Cornwall!
Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review, we’re so glad that you enjoyed you return to Pebble Cottage, the beaches are fabulous aren’t they! We hope you come back and stay again sometime.

“Great cottage but NOT for dog owners”
Firstly, let me say I cannot fault the accommodation interior. Clean, fully fitted throughout and with great wifi. Where it fails is in the exterior description. If you have a dog and in the description it states private courtyard then I think it fair to assume that you can open the back door and let Fido out first and last thing in the day. It does not need to be palatial but small and secure, just what 'Private Courtyard' suggests. Well there is not one. What presumes to be a private courtyard is in fact a bench under a window on top of some paving that is open to the driveway of all the properties at thr front of the building. No security at all. To access this you have to walk around the entire stable block, there is no door from the property onto it. I thought about climbing through the window but alas my commando days are over and I don't think the dog fancied it either. The communal area is huge but also well signposted stating all dogs to be kept on leads at all times. Great, so basically Bonzo is bound to his lead and collar all the while at Pebble Cottage once his nose sticks out the door as you have to access the communal area to reach your open plan courtyard. None of this I mind if it was mentioned anywhere in the description. It is not. What it does say is 'Pets allowed' and 'Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome'. Watch out if you like privacy from your patio at Pebble Cottage, there is none. You basically share the same space as the adjoining cottage and sit in front of their patio windows so I hope you are a social animal if you stay. This review is not meant to be scathing as the location sits in the middle of some of the most beautiful shoreline in the UK and we had a fab time. But please, make the accommodation description a bit more accurate. These facts are crucial to dog owners when choosing their holiday destination.
Owner's reply: We are sorry to hear that the outside areas of the cottage were not suitable for yourselves and Bonzo, we have revisited the listing and tried to be more clear regarding the garden area. We do hope that you discovered the many beaches and walks nearby where your dog was able to have fun and run free.
