Our lovely holiday lodge is available at the John Fowler Killigarth Manor Holiday Park on the beautiful south coast of Cornwall, only 10 minutes walk from the colourful fishing village and harbour of Polperro.

THE LODGE

Our beautiful cedar lodge is situated along the edge of the holiday park in an area which is very quiet and peaceful. You can sit outside on the decked bacony, which has plenty of room for dining al-fresco and is also ideal for toddlers and small children as we have added a gate to enclose it.

If you watch carefully in the evening, that's when all the bunnies come out to feed!

UNFORTUNATELY THE LODGE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIRS due to the steps onto the balcony, which is the only means of access.

There is parking right outside for two cars.

It has a very spacious open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen with lovely pine-clad sloping ceiling. This area has large feature windows and patio doors, which open out on to your private balcony, and further windows on two sides, making it very light and airy. There is a 32 inch flat-screen TV with Freeview and DVD player.

The kitchen has a full size gas hob, oven/grill and extractor. There is also a microwave oven, toaster & kettle.

And there is an integral full-size fridge & freezer as well as a washing machine, iron & ironing board, and clothes drying rack.

There are 3 bedrooms: one double bedroom, and two twin bedded rooms.

ALL BEDDING IS PROVIDED (duvets, pillows, sheets, duvet covers & pillow cases)

There are 2 bath/shower rooms: one has a walk-in spacious shower, toilet & basin and is en-suite to the double bedroom, but has a second door connecting it to the hallway so that anyone can use it. The second is a family bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet & basin.

Bath mats are provided, but .......PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS.

The lodge is fully carpeted (except for the kitchen) and is very comfortable, having full gas central heating, instant hot water, and double glazing.

ALL GAS AND ELECTRICITY COSTS ARE INCLUDED FOR 1 or 2 WEEK BREAKS.

The onsite facilities are free for you to use and include:

* Heated indoor swimming pool with children's paddling pool

* Sauna and fitness suite, tennis court, table tennis, pool tables, crazy golf, outdoor skittles and outdoor giant chess

* Children's Foxy Club, outdoor play area and indoor under 5's play area.

* Cafe/bar, entertainment/amusements area, Snooker table.

* Chef's Corner Bar Meals & Takeaway.

* Free WiFi internet access at the clubhouse - we have found that we get excellent reception using a "3" dongle in the lodge.

You are also free to use the facilities at the nearby Trelawne Manor holiday park (5 min drive), which has the addition of indoor/outdoor pools with flume, restaurant/bar and a fishing lake. Trelawne Manor is also owned by John Fowler Holidays.

Should you prefer a quieter break, just 5 mins walk away is the Polperro-Talland-Looe coastal footpath, and further afield the Eden project, Newquay, St Ives on the north cast and other attractions.

ASDA and TESCO HOME DELIVERY - You can shop online and have all your groceries delivered, they are quite used to coming to the lodges. All you have to do is choose a 2 hour delivery slot, any day of the week (including Saturday & Sunday) and up to 10pm!

“Lovely Autum Break.”

Had a lovely time at Black Bunny Lodge, the chalet was clean and tidy was fully equipt with everything you could wish for. We had three generations in our party of six and the chalet worked very well for us. It was nice to have the indoor pool for our 10 & 14yr old which we used every morning. It's situated just a few miles from Polperro where you have a selection of lovely restaurants. We had a great time and we look forward to booking Black Bunny Lodge again next year.

The Black Bunnies Chalet was very well appointed spotlessly clean and situated ideally for walking the coastal path which is what we required for our break. Would certainly like to revisit.

We sadly didn't make our stay at Black Bunny Lodge due to our flight from Florida being cancelled & our whole trip to the UK. William has been very helpful & has offered if we wish to stay in the future he will honour our booking for another time subject to availability. A big thank you to William's help & understanding. “Simply perfect”

Our stay at Black Bunny Lodge was a last minute decision but couldn’t have been better - the only downside was that we should have stayed longer. The Lodge is immaculate, comfortable and well equipped, the site is quiet and well maintained with plenty of space between the lodges so as not to feel overcrowded. The walk into Polperro is lovely, just over a mile downhill , but be warned it’s all uphill on the way back!

Spacious lodge, nicely decorated throughout. Probably one of the best places we have stayed in Cornwall. On a lovely site which has a heated pool in case it rains! A lovely pebble beach nearby in Talland and a sandy beach in Looe. A perfect place for a holiday. Will definitely return!

“Christmas holiday”

Just returned from a weeks stay.A wonderful time was had. The cabin is home from home which really helped. We cooked Christmas Dinner and everything we needed was there. The owners left some living touches for us with decorations put up and chocolate for our daughter. We will definitely be back again at some point. Really helpful questions answered before we went too.

“Late holiday”

Had a very relaxing week, weather not great but did get out for a few hours a day. Black Bunny lodge was lovely, had to move some things around to make it safer for the baby, but would highly recommend staying there. Beautiful surroundings and really good pool, as it was late in the season we almost had the pool to our selves. Love Cornwall

The location was excellent, close to lovely Tallen Beach, 5 minutes drive to Looe. The cottage was perfect, clean well cared for, very help owner. We hired the cottage to take our 2 grandsons away during the school holidays, we loved watching all the bunnies running around the site early monring and evening. We will differently go again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If WILLIAM (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
