Trevean Cottage is perfect for 2 people who wish for a cosy getaway break without the expense of renting a larger than required property.

From the pretty gardens there are spectacular sea views over Mousehole harbour, St. Michaels Mount, St. Clements Island, and the Lizard Peninsular beyond.

The cottage is in a perfect position for exploring the unspoilt harbourside village of Mousehole and all the treasures of West Cornwall with its many sandy coves and dramatic coastal scenery.

It is actually on route of the South West Coastpath leading to Lands End including Lamorna Cove, Logan Rock, Treen, Porthcurno and the famous Minack Theatre.

From Mousehole there is a beautifully scenic coastal drive to St. Ives via Lands End, St. Just and Zennor recently featured on a BBC4 program as one of the top ten roads in the UK.

From Penzance you can catch an open top bus that will take you around all the coastal beauty spots on the Penwith peninsular. A journey worth experiencing.

Also there is a reliable bus service from Mousehole harbour every half hour into Penzance where you can catch connecting buses to other areas.

Also try the scenic train journey from St. Erth into St. Ives.

Occasionally over the summer months you will see cruise liners passing and dropping anchor in Mounts Bay.

For bird watchers or nature lovers, Trevean Cottage is perfectly placed to watch daily activities on St. Clements Island directly in front of the property.

Here you will see Cormorants, Shags, Curlews, Oyster Catchers, Diving Gannets etc.

There are also families of seals going about their business.

On warm days you may be lucky enough to catch dolphins and porpoises swimming by, and in the last few years we have had several visits from basking sharks.

Binoculars are provided in the cottage to catch these magic moments of which you would not want to miss.

Mousehole is an unspoilt small fishing village which was not designed for vehicles.

Trevean Cottage has the rare benefit of providing a Free Private and secure off road car park.
