Nestled in the heart of the village, Little Dorrit benefits from its location right opposite the harbour front. Our eye for detail and passion for collecting has re-instated all the aesthetic charm of 'bygone days' in this Grade II listed Cobblers Cottage. The decor is in period style with antiques and curios. A Sitting room with comfortable leather chesterfield and matching chairs. pine chests and free standing dressers display choice pieces of china and copper. Free unlimited Wi-fi is also available at the cottage

The Fully equipped kitchen leads out onto a sheltered courtyard with plants and garden furniture for outdoor relaxation. Just step outside the door and you can stroll or relax on the two harbour beaches, for the more energetic, the coastal path will take you to Lamorna, or a more sedate stroll into Newlyn.

pine wardrobe and dressing table. 1 Twin bedded room with oak half tester beds, wardrobe, pine dressing
table and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have digital TV's.

“Wonderful holiday cottage”

We recently stayed at Little Dorrit - it’s a gorgeous clean and cosy cottage filled with interesting objects and very well equipped for a family holiday. It was a lovely place to come back to after a long day out. It’s right by all the local amenities (shops, restaurants & bus stop) and of course the little beach and harbour - perfect if you have young kids. Mousehole is gorgeous and a good base to get around west Cornwall. Only downsides for us (but not of major concern) were the intermittent WiFi and the mattress in main room is softer than we are used to but the beds in the second room were perfect. Thank you Patricia for your warm welcome and the goodies you left for us on arrival, they were much appreciated. We loved our stay in your cottage and hope to be back one day. (Ps my little boy counted 21 clocks in the cottage)

“Super Cottage”

Wonderful location, easy access to everything in the village, carnival was on so lots of locals. Weather was super till Thursday then the storm came but it was a great place to be stranded.

“Character with comfort”

This place has clearly been furnished with a lot of love. No bland neutrals here! However it’s modern where you need it The WiFi’s good, the beds are really comfy and the cooker and telly are modern. Great location a step from the harbour for those early morning swims and no noise that we noticed from the ship inn a few doors down. If you haven’t been before, Mousehole is Enid Blyton idyllic. Thoroughly recommend.

You can see the harbour from the bathroom. The cottage harbours many curiosities. Modern kitchen and bathrooom though. Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

“Wonderful Place”

A fantastic part of the world to visit, Mousehole is a stunning harbour village and the Little Dorrit cottage was a lovely cosy cottage right on the harbour surrounded by fascinating little streets, galleries, shops and a pub. The sandy beach was a surprise and we even swam in the sea. We had a relaxing time based in Little Dorrit which was clean and just as described, the welcome pack and greeting was fabulous, thank you.

How do damage deposits work?
