One word - ADORABLE - Sea Angel is a place to step back in time. An original 1930's seaside beach chalet, set in a magical location with glimpses of the sea, perfect for an old fashioned family holiday. It is privately owned and loved, a place to escape to and live out your childhood seaside memories. Just a few minutes walk through the paths and sand dunes to the most breathtaking and amazing secret beach in West Cornwall.

I was show SEA ANGEL in a dream in 2007 and googled for 3 days as i was shown i would find her if i did, and there i found her in Cornwall, on the most magical beach. xxx
She really looks forward to visitors and is perfect for 2 adults and 2 small children or 3 adults. You could even sleep 4 adults if you got on very well! One double bedroom and a bunkbed galley. There is a great sofa bed in the lounge, all decorated in a shabby chic Cath Kidson style. The kitchen is quaint and fully equipped with a full size cooker, microwave, fridge and sink. The bathroom has a shower and WC, adjacent is a little vanity area with a full size sink. Electric Heaters are provide for winter bookings.

We had a lovely stay here. Very close to the amazing beach. Easy access to the park and ride where you get the train into St Ives. The weather wasnt great so it was a bit draughty in the evenings. We did feel the cold but wrapped up in our pj's. I think a summer stay would be perfect. Lots of charming bits and bobs decorate the chalet. I would recommend a stay here.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your lovely review.... we have lots of plug in oil heaters and maybe you missed the extra ones behind the cooker.... please ask as we have extra heaters that we also bring over... the chalet has 4 oil heaters but we can bring more over.... I have been there in December and it can easily be heated up....Xxx

“Cute, cosy & full of character”

My mum, sister and myself stayed four nights in this cute and cosy beach chatlet which is packed with character. Us two sisters shared the bunk beds which was comfortable and big enough for adults. Shower was great and always had hot water. There wasn't anything missing for us it ticked all the boxes and close to a fabulous beach and we would defiantly stay here again!

Pretty,beautifully equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. A short walk to an amazing beach. This little chalet is so lovely I wanted to move in. Took my elderly mum and my sister who absolutley loved being there. Plenty of room for all of us. Boiling hot water at the flick of a switch! Definitely be back. Andrea was so helpful and there if you needed her. Thankyou again for a wonderful relaxing stay in beautiful Cornwall. x

We live in East Cornwall but wanted a few days away by the beach to rest.....and that's just what we got. A lovely clean and tidy beach chalet 5 minutes from the glorious ocean and sandy beach in Hayle. Sea Angel was very welcoming with everything you could possibly need, in addition some special teabags and beautiful biscuits awaited us.....a lovely touch. A great of thought has gone into preparing this beautiful Chalet to ensure visitors enjoy their time there.....we certainly felt very welcome and really enjoyed our long weekend.....would recommend.

What can I say? Great location, clean and tidy and good value for money. Shabby Chic is an apt description of this property and in no way is it ever going to be 5* accomodation but it proved to be a relaxing, if at times a little wet, pre Xmas break. We would not hesitating this property and location to our firends and will definitely come back again. Enoough said.

We love the Sea Angel; she is such a dear sweet little chalet. The decoration is a quaint shabby chic style. Everything you could wish for in a holiday home, Fridge Freezer, microwave, cooker and electric power shower. I loved the personal touches, scented candles, homemade art work. The main bed is like a huge marshmallow that you sink into and enjoy the most wonderful re charging deep sleep. The living room has a large sofa bed, and also a small kitchen table and chairs with a window view. Opening the stable door in the morning to let the sea breeze and sunshine enter just sets you up for the day. I was able to park the car next to Sea Angel which is perfect as I have mobility problems. We found the park very friendly with a nice mixture of home owners and holiday makers. Excellent recycling facilities which was important for us. The beach was only a stone throw away; we always found this to be very clean. The only regret was we stayed for a week, when we wanted to stay for ever.

We paid £1,300 to book 14 nights in this chalet (£93.00 per night!). We arrived to find it in a filthy state – thick dust, hairs and sticky grime everywhere. There was faecal matter under the toilet seat, urine around the base of the toilet, and mould in the shower (see photos). It was also in a state of disrepair (see photos) – the water heater in the kitchen and extractor fan in the bathroom were broken, the water heater in the bathroom was leaking water over the floor, the valence was hanging off the bed, and the outside bench was falling apart. We spoke to chalet park staff who were kind and helpful (they even loaned us a pair of pliers to try to get hot water), but they explained there was nothing they or we could do as the chalet is privately owned and the owner was overseas. We chose to leave and contacted the owner by email to describe the state of the chalet and request a refund. After considerable communication, we received a refund of £550 of the £1,300 we paid. This is the first time we have ever felt the need to write a negative review of anything, let alone holiday accommodation – we have taken many holidays in Cornwall and always had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately we do not recommend this accommodation.
