The England region

Cornwall needs little introduction. West Cornwall especially is home to the best beaches, best surfing and a beautiful coastline. Inland you will have the place pretty much to yourself: there are rugged hills, moors, interesting cycle trails and a historic landscape peppered with old ruins. The best things in life are free and Cornwall has loads to do and see without getting the wallet out, how good is that? A short drive (half hour) to the beautiful seaside town of St Ives, or to Marazion with the famous St Michael's Mount, or Newquay or the Lizard peninsula. Days out (not free) nearby: Fishing or dolphin watching boat trips from Newlyn/Penzance. Flambards Theme Park fun for all ages. 45 minutes to the Eden Project, Lands End or the Minnack Theatre.

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2015

Really loved this house, it was a home from home. The owners had thought of everything. The kids loved the tree house in the back garden. We didn't use the parking space in the garden because we always got a space at the front of the house. The owners left lots of information on local attractions and things to do. High recommended.

“Great family home with a funky vibe”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2015

A lovely stay in a really cool welcoming family house, with some quirky and funky touches - no run of the mill decor here! Well appointed with everything you'd need for a family stay. I loved the bright, warm kitchen/dining room where we hung out the most. Comfortable bedrooms, large bathroom and a funky (honestly you have to see it) living room with large screen TV . The all important broadband is available too! Great location close to beaches and handy for days out to St Ives, Helston, Eden Project, Penzance etc. much recommended
