“Total 'get-away from it all' break” We were looking for a totally rural setting near to some good wild swimming sites and found, in Cwn Irfon Lodge, the perfect location. Looking out onto a steep hill, dotted with sheep and within easy reach of The Washpool and an attractive waterfall, the cottage was comfortable and warm. The shower was a somewhat less powerful than the nearby waterfall, but the kitchen was well equipped and towels were plentiful. After swimming at Wolf's Leap and a remote lake, we really appreciated being able to use the sauna at Cwn Irfon which the owners Gyles and Karin had warmed up for us on request. A welcome cake, provided by Karin, was a really nice touch.

“Beautiful location, high quality accommodation” The barns were a wonderful place to stay for a 50th birthday gathering, with plenty of space and the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor activities. The gym and sauna were a real treat and we were just astonished by the thought that had gone into everything, particularly the equipment in the kitchen. Friendly and helpful owner and staff. We definitely want to come back!
