“Great house” Port Perry is a great big house that was ideal for our family of 11. There was lots of room for 5 energetic boys to let off steam - both inise and out. The games in the garage were also a bonus. Thanks for making our stay a brilliant one.

“A great place to stay with a large group of friends” The accomodation at Lindores is surprisingly spacious, with large rooms set over 3 floors. There are a good number of bathrooms (a must with a large group) and a well-equipped kitchen, The living room is cosy and the log burner easy to light! The accomodation is clean, warm and comfortable throughout and there was no shortage of hot water. The location of the house is excellent, with the beach just around the corner, and a good number of pubs, a good Italian restaurant and a village shop. The surrounding area and coast line is stunning with loads to see and do.

“Beautiful Cottage” From the first point of contact we had excellent service and we werent disappointed when we arrived the cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The web site, details of how to get here and information provided in the cottage is first class - lots of attention to detail to make your holiday informative and relaxing. Lovely welcome pack from the Running Fox on arrival. Lots of lovely places to visit from the cottage and the Running Fox accross the bridge is a must beautiful home cooked breads and cakes. New landlady in the Northumberland Arms very welcoming and we hope the pub is a success for her she deserves it. Morning visit at the back door from the ducks!! Would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to anyone and certainly value for money. We have had a lovely time and will most certainly book next time we are in the area.

“First Class as Always” This is the second time my Wife and I have used Beachcombers and again we enjoyed it. February in the north of England is not necessarily the best time of year for a holiday and outside it was as expected freezing but fortunately for the most part dry. Beachcombers has good heating system and seems very thermally efficient so we were never cold, once the apartment was warm we had to turn the heating off. So wrapped up against the cold we enjoyed some great days on the beach, nice walks along to Seahouses and back. Exploring Alnwick, visiting Barter Books, swimming at Alnwick Leisure Centre. Great! and in the evenings a bit of cooking, reading TV etc. Thoroughly enjoyable. We will be back again.

“A Relaxing Stay” Northumberland is somewhere I'd always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed, especially with the accommodation. This lovely little cottage is ideally set in a really lovely area not too far from some amazing places to visit, including Alnwick, Bamburgh, Seahouses , all of these are within a short drive. The cottage itself is just lovely, well fitted out with everything you could possibly need in the way of crockery and cutlery etc. Everything is easy to use, no complicated electrical goods etc. 2 Lovely bedrooms with plenty of storage, the bathroom is beautiful and the whole place has underfloor heating making it very cosy, but if you do get chilly there's a fab wood burner. Being a city dweller all my life I found it a bit tricky at first but after your first fire you can't wait to light the next one and watch the flames roar and hear to logs crackle. The cottage is dog friendly and is perfect with some grass at the front (which I didn't let my dog on as it was perfect and didn't want to leave any 'scorch' marks), but everywhere else is gravel and flags. I will definitely be booking either this one again or the one next door which has lovely French doors so you can see across the surrounding countryside. I had such a peaceful and enjoyable time, the night skies are something to be amazed at, that in itself is worth a visit just to see the huge array of stars, I even saw a meteor!!
